The Fall Color Palette and Sunday Morning Coffee

|

I love fall. I have a deep affection for fall, and much of it stems from the captivating beauty of its fall color palette.

Every fall the world transforms into a mesmerizing fall color palette of rich reds, fiery oranges, and golden yellows. The trees’ foliage becomes a symphony of hues, each leaf a masterpiece in itself. The fall colors hold a mirror to the beauty of change, a reminder that transformation can be a breathtaking journey, much like the transition from the heat of summer to the embrace of autumn’s gentle chill.

Thanks for joining me for Sunday Morning Coffee. This is a place to share, learn, explain, dream, and have fun. Let’s get started!

About Me

I really do love fall.

It is the season known for its vibrant and warm fall color palette as the leaves change to shades of red, orange, and yellow. The picturesque landscapes created by these colors can be visually appealing and evoke feelings of beauty and nostalgia.

Of course, I am bringing beauty and nostalgia into our home with fall decor.

And this year, I am loving my fall decor! Especially since I am trying to repurpose and reuse my fall decor from years past. How fun is that?

It’s economical and the right thing to do.

For the past month, I have been organizing our third floor. I moved everything out of the 3rd-floor storage, emptied out all of the bins, organized it, and put it all back. And not only did I organize my craft supplies but I organized my fall and holiday decor too.

My new craft room on the third floor with vaulted ceilings, a Dreambox craft storing cabinet, a work table, and more.

I will be honest. It feels a little bit like Christmas now that I have all of my craft supplies in a place organized.

And I have already started crafting for fall, using supplies that I already own.

Recycle and reuse. That’s my new theme.

My Latest Project

A closet in the eaves of our third floor that stores all of my craft supplies.

I finally finished organizing my craft supplies closet.

This fantastic closet is on our third floor and fifteen years ago we built it in the eaves. I added enough drawers (with labels) to store all of the craft supplies I own.

If you look closely, you will notice I have a new and exciting craft tool that is sitting on the back shelf.

It’s the xtool M1. And it is a laser cutter.

I can’t share it yet because I still need to try it out and make some projects to share next week. I cannot wait!

My Biggest Challenge This Week

Guess who had babysitting duties this week?

Andrew, Charlotte, Graham, and Matt joined me at the beach house and I was so happy to babysit my adorable grandson while Andrew and Charlotte went to a wedding nearby.

Fortunately, Matt was here to assist and he was a superstar.

We had such a wonderful long weekend and I love that we could share it at the beach house.

And of course, this is not a challenge at all. Except that I can’t believe they are already heading home. Boo! Now that is always my challenge as i wish I had more time with my kids and grandson!
