Finishing the Exterior of the Beach House and Sunday Morning Coffee

We are almost done with the exterior of our beach house! The front door is done and the garage doors will be installed on Tuesday.

I had the pleasure to work with The Home Depot and we picked out these amazing front doors. I love the modern look and they are absolutely what I had envisioned for our beach house!

Season 3 Volume 21

Thanks for joining me for Sunday Morning Coffee. This is a place to share, learn, explain, dream, and have fun. Let’s get started!

About Me

It has taken a while but the front of the beach house is two days away from being done. We had the most amazing experience working with The Home Depot MVA program picking out our front door.

What do you think?

And yes, our door did look that bad when we started construction!

I can’t wait to share the story of the most amazing FREE service from The Home Depot which helps customers to purchase windows and doors from the comfort of their own homes.

It’s true! You can read all about it here!

On Tuesday our new garage doors will be delivered and installed. Then we will be done!

My Latest Project

My Latest Project

An outdoor kitchen with a Coyote pellet grill.

I am becoming a pellet grill chef!

Did you know that pellet grills are the hottest grill on the market right now?

We have a new pellet grill at the beach house and I love it!

It can do everything a regular grill can do but it also smokes, bakes, sears, and can cook pizzas at 700 degrees!

Later this week I will be sharing lots of new recipes I created for a pellet grill. And no worries, they also work on a regular grill!

My Biggest Challenge This Week

As a new grandmother, I am having a hard time not being able to visit my grandson all of the time. Andrew, Charlotte, and Graham are close, but it’s a six-hour drive or a one-hour plane flight.

And it’s killing me. FaceTime is great but it’s not the same!

I am going to head up north as soon as I can.

I did buy this amazing digital frame and all of my kids can share their photos remotely to the frame anytime they want. It’s a great way to get lots of photos of Baby Graham.

Are there any grandmas out there with some helpful advice?

This garden from @shiplapandshells is pure inspiration and makes me so excited for summer to get here!

I have so many new things to share this week! It’s wedding week as we are attending my nephew’s wedding! We are so excited. I have written blog posts about hosting a wedding in your backyard, hosting a bridal shower, and how to make reasonably priced flowers for a wedding. I am also going to try to make a fun garden pot, share our new pellet grill and some wonderful recipes, and share a completely new refresh in our living room. It’s even a bit modern!

  1. Love the new look! So fresh and modern. Have a great time at your nephew’s wedding. I will be attending my niece’s here in Texas next weekend. Looking so forward to getting the families together again.

  2. One of the things that I have done as a Nana and my girlfriend also is having a daily reading time when the baby gets a little older via FaceTime. We also sent a copy of the book that we are reading to our grandchild so they have a collection and we have a collection as they get older they can read along and it’s some thing that I’ve always cherished doing. You could do it once a week or you could even if you have time do it have a daily set time it’s a very special time to bond with our Littles, and teach them the love of reading. Then when you get together, you can actually read the little books in person isn’t that a sweet idea?

    1. Hi Sandi! Omg thank you so much for sharing- that’s a lovely idea! ☺️❤️ We will have to try this!
