I know I have been posting holiday content for a month but it’s nice to get an early start on your plans! It’s the holiday season and I hope you are as excited as I am. I have so many new Christmas ideas to share and I can’t wait.

The Beach House Update

You might have read that we have an estimated completion date for the beach house which is …

Christmas!

I am still very apprehensive about being done by then but I have my fingers crossed!

I have not shared that we had a two-and-a-half-month delay with the city but that is now behind us and we are moving ahead at a rapid pace.

Even though it’s the holiday season we are making a lot of trips to the beach house to make sure decisions are being made and we are staying on schedule.

And no, you don’t need the details.

The drywall is done with mudding and taping so now our walls are purple and white. Wait, purple? Yes, we used water-resistant drywall and it’s purple. Fortunately, we start painting tomorrow.

We also begin the installation of our kitchen cabinets tomorrow too!

This is the kitchen and family room area.

And the office/5th bedroom.

I have also been shopping the Black Friday Deals for furnishings and fun items for the beach house. Yesterday I bought a mirror, seven spa robes, a rug, and bedroom furniture for our primary bedroom.

I found the best deals on Amazon, Pottery Barn, and West Elm.

Something New

I have big plans for 2023. Even though it’s the holiday season, I can’t stop thinking about what I want to do next year.
