Our California Beach House and Sunday Morning Coffee
Last week our family was in town and we had the most incredible time at our Ventura California Beach House!
Our house has been under renovation for over a year so it had been quite a while since we were all together at the beach house. Until last weekend. We just spent eight days together and it was even more fun than I could have hoped for.

About Me
I cannot believe the week is over but we had the most fabulous time at our Ventura California Beach House!
After dealing with the beach house remodel for a year, I haven’t been this happy in a long time. It was so wonderful to see how well our newly remodeled beach house fit our family.
And the highlight of course was our 3-month-old grandson Graham!
I loved how everyone pitched in to help with Graham. In fact, I think Andrew and Charlotte actually had a vacation since so many of us wanted to help with Graham!
I did a fun project to welcome our family all back to Ventura Beach. I made sweatshirts for everyone to enjoy during our visit.
For the eight of us, I made about 15 sweatshirts. I had no idea what sizes everyone wanted so we definitely have some extras.
The kitchen at our beach house was the perfect craft room. I was busy the week before everyone arrived finishing the sweatshirts.
I made the cutouts on my Cricut machine and used this new Cricut Easy Press Mini Heat Press to iron on the HTV. It worked perfectly on the tiny sweatshirts for Graham but also on the others. I love this new tool.
FYI, the font is called Molly Sans and the letters are 4.5″ tall.
They were so easy to make and I purchased the sweatshirts on sale on Amazon!

My Biggest Challenge This Week
I think it would have been impossible to have a single challenge this week as I spent the entire week with our family at the beach house!
We had a lot of fun at the beach. Dave, Michael, and Matt surfed and Graham had his first day ever at the beach!
I guess it would have been nice if I could have controlled the weather as it was a bit cloudy for the first half of the week.
That said, we still had a fabulous time and kept very busy. There were lots of golf times, beach walks, fabulous dinners, games, deck time, and fun days at the beach.
My friend Janine at Happy Happy Nester made the most incredible Pineapple Cranberry Juice Drink! Yum!

What a week! Although I was on vacation I still managed to share six fun blog posts which included our new backyard putting green at the beach house and some back porch ideas. I made a cake with “sea glass” made from sugar glass and shared my favorite summer desserts. I also shared all of the bedrooms in the Waco house and my favorite summer pillows!

There is nothing like a week together with family at the beach! You will love having three generations there as Graham and your family grows! How lucky you are to do this. Tell us the significance of the different names of beaches on the sweatshirts?
