Season 2 Volume 30
Today I am pleased to share with you Sunday Morning Coffee. This is a place to share, learn, explain, dream, and have fun.
My new book, A Home to Share, is available for Pre-order now! Click here for more details!
About Me
Hopefully, most of you saw that we are hosting a fun party in our backyard next month. To celebrate the launch of my new book, A Home to Share, we are having a party in our backyard. And you are all invited!
My book project has been in the works for almost two years and since day one I hoped we could celebrate on the day the book is released. Now that the book will be available soon, we decided to host a party for all of you and my family and friends on September 27th from 5:00 until 8:00 pm.
Party Details
My book, A Home to Share, will be officially launched on September 27th so why not celebrate that day? Our home is in South Pasadena, Ca and the party will be held in our backyard from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Since tickets are limited you are going to want to reserve your spot for the party now! Just so you know, we sold almost half of the tickets yesterday so please do not wait! The ticket includes a signed copy of my book, a house tour, appetizers, and drinks. Once you have your book in hand it will be so fun to be at our home as it will bring the book and my blog to life!
The ticket price is $40.00 and tickets are non-refundable. If you purchase a ticket but are unable to attend, we will mail you your signed copy of the book. You must pre-purchase a ticket to attend and additional signed copies of my book can be ordered and picked up at the event
Something New
Guess where we spent most of the day yesterday?
Checking in on the beach house remodel.
It’s been way too long since we have been to the Ventura beach house! I had the dreaded virus, then I went to the Haven Conference and we enjoyed a week-long vacation in Georgia. So much has changed and I can’t wait to share it all with you.
The new 3rd-floor deck has been waterproofed and we love it. This is going to be the most amazing place to enjoy with family and friends and I am so excited about the firepit, outdoor kitchen, and furniture that will be up here in the next few months.
Doesn’t that sound like fun?
I will be writing a full blog post about the beach house remodel this week and there will be an interesting theme. And it has something to do with the color purple …

My Favorite Room This Week
This week I spent a lot of time on our back porch. I love to enjoy my coffee out here in the morning and always try to sneak in some reading in the late afternoon. We also have started dining out here again as the evenings seem to be cooling off a bit.

Could you please share how you care for your outdoor chairs & sofa that are in the weather at all times. Do you cover them each evening? What about the rainy weather?
They are from Arhaus! We don’t cover them each evening and we don’t really have to worry about rain much!
