About Me
Are you a fan of Trader Joe’s salads?
I happen to love them and one day we decided to do a taste test to pick our absolute favorite. One morning I bought 11 of the most popular Trader Joe’s salads and that afternoon we tasted and tasted and tasted.
I am curious if we tasted one or some of your favorite TJ salads? Let me know in the comments!
We tasted the salads in two shifts. We started out with six and discussed the pros and cons and then tasted the last five.

Something New
We are making progress on the beach house remodel. There aren’t a lot of new photos to show as the purple (aka water resistant) drywall took some time. Our windows will be here in a few weeks and we cannot wait.
The new fireplace has been installed and the new mantle will be added in a month or so.
I have started my favorite part of the remodel and that is picking the furnishings! Don’t laugh, but I thought you might enjoy the photo below as I used copies of our architectural plans as place holders for the furniture in the family room.
I love this method as it helps me visualize what size couch and swivel chairs we need!

My Favorite Room This Week
If you saw my blog post earlier this week then you know that our dining is ready for fall! I love this table and the color palette is stunning. We mixed faux and fresh fruits down the center of the table and it just completes the room, don’t you think?
This is the time of year when we start using our dining room more and I love that this room has more color. Every time I walk by our dining room I catch a little smile on my face. If you want to see more of our dining room head to my blog post here.

I so enjoy your pretty table settings. I remember when you wrote about the salads from TJ’s. Love the Crunchy Slaw and Pasadena Salad. I think the Pasadena Salad is labeled Pacific Salad outside of CA.
