Sunday Morning Coffee, Vintage Shopping, and Some Bad Luck
Most of you are aware that I returned from France earlier in the week. We went to Provence on a vintage shopping trip and it was amazing.
But it’s also wonderful to be home. I have had jet lag and have gotten very comfortable reading on my kindle at night when sleep is not an option.
And then I experienced some bad luck.
Season 2 Volume 1
Thanks for joining me for Sunday morning coffee. Today I am sharing my weekly thoughts about entertaining, decor, crafts, recipes, and more.
About Me
Most of my vintage shopping purchases from France are unpacked and now I am dealing with something else. The dreaded virus. Yup.
It started with the cough, then the fever, a sore throat, a killer migraine, and more. I am not surprised I caught it, but I am surprised it hit me so hard since I have had two vaccines and two boosters.
Fortunately, my doctor got me some pretty strong medicines and I am feeling better. But I will be taking it easy for the next couple of weeks.
Doctors orders. So if I miss a blog post here and there, you will know why.
I thought I might share a few more photos from our France trip. It really was wonderful.
I love these jars I found at a vintage shopping flea market.
Something New
As you all know, I did quite a bit of vintage shopping while we were in Provence. How could I avoid all of the treasures at the French Flea markets? I bought so many great things and I love that they have all found a temporary home. Why did I say temporary?
Because most of the items are for the beach house and they will all get moved there when we are done with construction.
I had planned on styling some of my French purchases in the house to share today, but my plans got sidetracked. As soon as I am feeling up to it I will get some photos to share.

My Favorite Room This Week
My favorite room this week is my craft room. You might remember that I bought a lot of linens in France. Some are beautiful and are stored away in the butler’s pantry.
But many of the linens I bought are to use to make some welcome bags for the beach house.
When we were in France these amazing bags hung on our doors each day and every morning they contained fresh croissants! I loved the idea so much that I decided to buy linens in France and make my own!
As soon as I got home from France I cleaned out my Craft Room and set up everything I need to make these linen bags.
I promise to share with you how I made them. Just give me a week or so to get started.

The dang virus! Feel better real soon!
Leslie, I am so sorry you are under the weather with this crazy virus! Please be sure you get plenty of rest so you will feel better soon. Thoughts and prayers are with you!! Also love all the wonderful things you have posted so far regarding your trip to Provence.
Thanks Debra!
Leslie, so sorry to read of your illness. Your health is priceless. As much as we all reading your wonderful blogs everyday, I’m sure we all agree that you must take care of yourself first and foremost. There will be plenty of time for all of us to enjoy your blogs in future. For now, please take care of yourself. This is a nasty virus with some horrible long term effects if you do not heed your physician’s advice.
Will keep you in my thoughts. Sending positive vibes your way.

Sorry about the virus. Remember, the v*accine doesn’t keep you from getting it. It hopefully just makes it not so bad. And looking on the bright side, I’m so thankful you did not get it while ON the trip. Now THAT would have been awful to be away from home, sick and not able to enjoy your trip. Praying that you are feeling back to 100% soon. Take care. Your readers will be here when you feel like getting back to it here.
