Family Week and Sunday Morning Coffee
The annual Cravens Golf Tournament was last week at San Gabriel Country Club, and Charlotte’s birthday was yesterday, so it was a family week!
Andrew, Charlotte, Michael, Ellie, and Graham arrived early last week, and we had so much fun. The boys golfed, we watched, had a lot of fun family dinners, and we celebrated Charlotte’s 30th! Thanks for joining me for Sunday Morning Coffee. This is a place to share, learn, explain, dream, and have fun.

About Me
What a week we had!
Yes, there was golf, but my mornings with Graham were my favorite time of the week.
Graham gets up at seven, and since I am always awake by then, I volunteer for grandma duty first thing. This allows Charlotte to sleep in and the boys to get out for golf.
We visited SGCC on Thursday to watch the horse race (it’s a golf term, I promise), and Graham tagged along. Of course, we didn’t want him shrieking, so we hung out in the back. I think he was still the most popular male on the golf course.
Our boys progressed through the tournament, and Dave and Andrew made it to the final day, which is today!
My Latest Project
Charlotte’s 30th birthday was yesterday, and we had a lot of fun celebrating.
I spent all week trying to decide what to get her for her birthday, and it wasn’t until I showed her my Amazon Echo Frames Smart Audio Glasses that I knew I had the perfect gift.
If you aren’t aware of these smart glasses, they are the best!
I have had mine for a few months, and I use them for bike riding because I can listen to music and hear all the surrounding noise.
So how do they work?
They play sounds from your phone (such as music, a podcast, an audiobook, or a phone call) into the speakers in the arm. The sound is clear, and you can do all these things hand-free.
They are also available in many styles, such as prescription lenses and sunglasses. Charlotte and I both have sunglasses.
I can’t wait to use them on the beach to listen to a book or music while I relax.

My Biggest Challenge This Week
I have been really busy this week as I have had a lot of deadlines for events that will happen this summer.
I spent many hours working on an exciting partnership that will be revealed in July and I have a big giveaway in a few weeks and cannot wait.
It will be announced on my Instagram, so watch for it.
I am also getting our home ready for summer, which means lots of gardening and changes in the decor.
- Plan the Memorial Day Weekend holiday at the beach.
- Find fabric to make my dress for the rehearsal dinner.
I love this Strawberry Boba recipe. You can buy the Popping Boba Pearls here!
I love this 16th Century Home in Devon, likely because I am obsessed with the newest Bridgerton season!
Southern Living tried 12 Boxed Brownie Mixes, and here is their favorite.
It was a busy week with lots of family in town but I shared a fun cake, a spring table, the mishaps during our beach house remodel, and some Memorial Day fun ideas. I also share the 24th birthday of our farmhouse kitchen and ways to get your backyard ready for summer.
Martha shared this fabulous Raspberry Scone recipe!
Next week will be fun as I have two posts about fresh flowers, tips on decorating your porch for summer, and tips on decorating your porch. I also have what I think are the decor trends for summer, my kitchen garden harvest, and a fun bridal shower!
