Holiday Shopping and Sunday Morning Coffee

I know what you are thinking. Holiday shopping? In the first week of October? Absolutely, because Amazon Prime Big Deal Days are this week!
Amazon Prime Big Deal Days are a big shopping event exclusively for Prime members, offering incredible discounts across various products. Taking place this Tuesday and Wednesday, this is an opportunity to score deals on electronics, home goods, fashion, and more—just in time for holiday shopping.

Season 4 Volume 39
Thanks for joining me for Sunday Morning Coffee. This is a place to share, learn, explain, dream, and have fun. Let’s get started!

About Me

Like Prime Day, Amazon Prime Big Deal Days will feature limited-time offers and lightning deals, perfect for savvy shoppers looking to save big. If you’re a Prime member, it’s a great time to snag the best bargains before the holiday rush!
Since Amazon Prime Big Deal Days are this Tuesday and Wednesday, you have a few days to prepare for your holiday shopping.
I did this last year, and it was so clever! I got a significant jump on my holiday shopping, which made my typical last-minute holiday shopping crunch almost non-existent. Another thing I loved was that I bought my gift-wrapping supplies!
That’s a first.
I will share my 10 Lists on my Amazon storefront on Tuesday morning (the lists will go live at 12:01 a.m. PST on Tuesday). My team has been spending weeks on the lists (many have hundreds of items) so that you can get a streamlined overview of the best deals available.
It’s that easy!

My Latest Project

Oh my gosh, I am 100% done and ready for Michael and Ellie’s wedding!
The Rehearsal Dinner favors are done and wrapped, as are the place cards and menus. My dress is hemmed,, and my eyelashes are extended. My nails look great, and my hair will be highlighted tomorrow.
I love all of this glam! Perhaps I need to attend weddings more frequently!
The preparation has been so much fun, although Michael and Ellie have been very busy! Hopefully, they will soon be able to stop planning, relax, and enjoy the wedding festivities.
Years ago, I wrote a post titled Three Easy DIY Wedding Favors. I made these season, soak, and scrub tins.

So, what does this week look like?
Tuesday and Wednesday are Prime Big Deal Days, so I have two long days of posting, sharing, and commenting. Dave and I will drive to Northern California on Tuesday and stay with Andrew and Charlotte.
We have celebration dinners with family on Wednesday and Thursday, and the rehearsal dinner is on Friday at a vineyard. Saturday is the wedding, and on Sunday, I hope we will all sleep and celebrate on behalf of the newly married-couple!

My Biggest Challenge This Week

Last week, on Sunday and Monday. Dave and I took two beautiful bike rides in Ventura. The first was to Ojai, and the second was up the coast. The rides were great, and the views and weather were perfect.

I struggle because the only time we ride is in Ventura, and it just doesn’t seem like enough.
If there are any bikers out there, I would love your help. I would love to ride in the Pasadena area, but I can’t find any good areas with bike paths mostly void of fast-moving cars.
If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. Thanks.

- Oops, I lied. I still have another task: finishing the draft of my toast for the Rehearsal Dinner. No problem!
