About Me

Leslie - How to Grow the Best Tomato Plants

So how did this amazing trip to France come about?

I am traveling with my best friend Maryliz (who also works with me full-time). We have worked so hard this past year which led me to the conclusion that we needed to take a field trip.

And the best field trip I could think of was vintage fleamarket shopping in France.

I booked us on a small group tour with Tracey at French Larkspur. Her tours sound amazing, are very small, and I love the fact that our group will only be four guests! And I also am very happy that I didn’t have to plan a thing!

A Shopping Trip in Provence France

We will be spending our ten days in the Luberon area in the South of France. We fly into Marseilles (via London) and will be staying in a lovely apartment for the entire week. Every day we will be visiting a different area, with lots of shopping and sightseeing.

The Luberon area isn’t far from Monaco. I have been to Monaco before and it really is amazing. I should have planned a side trip but kind of missed that opportunity! Oops.

Provence France

Tracey has been in France for a few weeks and she let us know the lavender is blooming everywhere! I cannot imagine and I think it is going to be incredible. The lavender scent in the air is something I cannot wait to experience.

We fly to London today and then we fly on to Marseilles. We will arrive on Monday evening, stay in Marseilles for the night, and then head to our apartment and start shopping on Tuesday!

Provence France

Maryliz and I have been spending a lot of time preparing for this trip. We have blog posts ready for the days we are traveling and then all of our content everywhere will be about our Provence trip.

I must admit I have found some amazing items that I am taking on my trip. I haven’t traveled internationally in a long time and can’t believe how many improvements there are on some of these items!

When I get back from France, I have some really big news to share.

And that’s all I am saying for now. Hmmm…

My Favorite Room This Week

Pink Rug in the Carriage House

Our Carriage House is located in our backyard and it’s such a nice spot for entertaining and creativity. Sometimes I spend a few hours out here brainstorming and creating content for my blog.

We have had a lot of fun dinner parties out here. One time I had a big dinner planned in the middle of our backyard but it rained. At the last minute, we were able to move the party inside the Carriage House. But we left the large doors open and watch the rain coming down outside.

It was magical!

New Space for Flower Design

This is where we do all of our flower arrangements. I created this space and it is nice to have the flower arranging out here and not in the house!

Farmhouse Dining Room

The table and chairs are a flea market find from Roundtop and the vases are calf buckets. They are vintage and are buckets that were used to feed baby cows!

SF Girl shared a great blog post, Green With Envy.
