Our Airbnb Waco Home
I get questions about our Airbnb Waco home almost weekly, so I am taking you on a tour today! Get ready; you are going to love it!
My dream for our Airbnb Waco home was to create a vacation home where our home feels like yours. I have poured my heart into this home and love everything about it.

A Bit About Our Airbnb Waco Home

Six years ago, I bought an old rundown home on half an acre in Waco, Texas. There was a shortage of places to stay in Waco, and I really wanted to design and manage my own “fixer-upper.” I wanted to create a beautiful and comfortable home for guests to stay in while visiting Waco.
Fortunately, the cost of the home was next to nothing, so I was able to create exactly what I wanted for our Airbnb.
Our Airbnb Waco rental is a one-hundred-year-old home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. During the remodel, I opened up the living area, expanded the kitchen, added a wrap-around porch, and added a bedroom and master bath while remodeling every single inch of the home. Fortunately, I was able to use the original wood floors, wood ceilings, and shiplap. There are lots of “before” photos on my blog if you want to see what it used to look like.
I get asked all the time how to book our Airbnb Waco home. To do so, click on this link to book our WACO AIRBNB and follow the link to make a reservation. It’s that simple.
Our home has a large open concept with an adjoining living room, dining room, and kitchen. Ready for a tour? Let’s go!

Three Large Bedrooms
The home has three bedrooms and two baths. This is the primary bedroom suite.
The Primary Suite

The Primary Bath

I love this bathroom. The marble floors and shower look vintage, and the side table I repurposed into a vanity came out perfectly.
The Center Bedroom
There are also two additional bedrooms with two queen beds.

I found the two queen beds online and filled the rest of the room with vintage items. Every single vintage item is from the Round Top flea market. I drove a 20′ truck to Round Top and filled it in two days! The two ballisters hanging above the beds are one of my favorite finds.
The Front Bedroom

I love this room so much. This was the first room that was finished and furnished and I cried when I placed the last pillow on the bed because I knew my dream had come true.
The Hall Bathroom

The hall bathroom has two areas. The back section has a shower and toilet, and the front room has a vanity and two mirrors.
My favorite part of this bathroom is the shower. I raised the front of the shower ledge so it can also be used as a toddler bathtub!

.The Kitchen
The kitchen has state-of-the-art appliances and is fully outfitted as a gourmet kitchen. The island is a vintage piece I picked up at Round Top. Isn’t it amazing?

Open shelves are perfect for an Airbnb because they make it easy for our guests to find items like glassware, which is used constantly!

Isn’t this a fun kitchen? It’s light and airy and an enjoyable place to cook. This is a fantastic layout for cooking and entertaining, and it would work in any home.

The floors in the house are mostly original. Since we expanded the back of the home, I had to find flooring for the kitchen that would match. I can’t believe that I found floorboards that match perfectly! The horizontal boards show where we added the new (but old) flooring.

The shiplap is on two sides of the open living area. I love it! This is an older photo of our kitchen because I added some ceiling tiles to the back area of the stove, and I love them. You can see how I did this at How to Tile a Backsplash with Vintage Tiles.

The Dining Room
Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room. The dining table seats eight, making it the perfect spot for entertaining.
See the vintage cabinet on the right side? That’s the pantry and storage spot for the microwave.

The dining room opens to the living room and the kitchen, and our home has excellent Wi-Fi and a satellite TV, which is hidden in the cabinet on the left side, as seen below.
The Living Room

You might recognize the vintage ladder chandelier I made. It is similar to the one we have in our home in California.

The Exterior
We added a new roof and a wrap-around porch when we remodeled the home. The property has a huge oak tree, and the porch has a great view. The French doors open in the dining room open out to the wrap-around porch. One of my favorite things is to sit out on our porch and read a book. It is so relaxing.

Isn’t this porch amazing?

Look at the cute logo I made for Airbnb. It is embroidered on all the towels and bathrobes in our Airbnb Waco home.
