Halloween is a really big deal in our town. But now that our kids are grown I tend to lean more toward fall decorations for Halloween than skeletons and spiders! Today I am sharing how I decorated our home for fall and Halloween. I also shared my DIY’s to make a wreath for our front door and painted pumpkins for our entryway. Today I am sharing eleven of my favorite fall branches and my absolute favorite fall decorating ideas! Fall is such a fun season to decorate our home. I shopped and I am so happy with all of my new fall decor. I made both the colorful fabric pumpkins (with driftwood stems!) and the chunky blanket. I can't wait to share how easy they both were to make! (The blanket did not require knitting needles or a crochet hook!) I am so excited to share another fall craft idea! I had so much fun making these fall leaves for our family room. And this table just might be my favorite one ever. I love making wreaths for fall and this has to be my favorite DIY wreath ever! Today I am sharing everything you need to know to make this copper metal wreath plus my favorite wreaths for fall. I am so happy my original painted pumpkin project didn't work because it led me to create this deconstructed easy painted pumpkin! I love it so much. When I was going through my “Oh my gosh, I don’t have any fall décor” crisis a few weeks ago, I got a little carried away when ordering pumpkins online. I also hadn’t selected my color scheme, which was a really dumb thing to do before ordering a bunch of pumpkins. Today I am sharing a DIY craft How to Make a Wreath Pillow. I made a pillow for a wreath blog hop because my wreath form did not arrive in time! This DIY is fun and easy to make. And I love how it came out! Today I am sharing a very easy and fun craft. I made these flowers with copper wire and I want you to know that you can make these too! Today I am sharing a very easy and fun craft. My favorite fall decor DIY project this year is making free stitch embroidery coasters and pillows for my home. I change my decor and colors every year, so this was an inexpensive way to add a touch of color. I made pumpkins and cattails in browns, rusts and beiges! Thank you for your DIY free stitch embroidery tutorial! I’ve gone a little crazy with it, but having fun!
My favorite fall decor DIY project is your ‘How To Make Copper Leaf Pumpkins’ project. They are absolutely gorgeous and I knew I had to make some for myself the first second I saw them. So far I’ve picked up 6 pumpkins (various sizes) to try this technique on. Good thing I got 6 because my daughter’s dog got a hold of 4 of them during the night and had a good chew! Bad dog!! Now just need to get the gilding leaf and other products. Looking forward to decorating my home with these this fall! Thanks, Leslie

Thank you so much for following along, Barbara.
My favorite fall DIY project is … a Turkey Wreath.. (I realize this would be late fall).
it is absolutely adorable. It really is a facsimile of a Turkey, I made a burlap wreath, cut a felt pilgrim hat in half, placed at top for head, made a large fall bow for body, used several long fall colored grasses for tail and also two smaller orange grass-like picks for the feet. I think it is incredible and I was so proud of it, I had to make another one for my sons family. They loved it!
You share so many lovely things, but I will have to make the Chunky Blanket, I love it, as well as your fabric pumpkins.
I love that! Thank you so much for sharing, Cathy.
