This Week at My 100 Year Old Home
Fall has arrived in our home. I love every single idea I shared this week at my 100 year old home.
Oh my gosh! What a great week it was, It may not officially be fall, but fall has arrived in our home. I decided to go with a lot of colors this year in my fall decor and I absolutely love it.
I wrote a post this week based on inspiration from my friend Courtney at French Country Cottage. Her new book Inspired Gatherings is one of the most gorgeous books ever published. It is the most beautiful book and I had fun channeling my “Courtney Inspiration” setting up this area on our back porch.
I shared one of my favorite collections, cranberry glass, this week. When I was writing the blog post I did some research on the best place to buy vintage cranberry glass. My “research” resulted in my purchase of three small sets of cranberry glass (which is why I refer to it as an expensive blog post). Two of my purchases were glasses that matched my collection but the third one is a new set of eight cranberry glasses. They arrived yesterday and they are spectacular. I cannot wait to share them with you.
I also decorated our kitchen for fall this year and I love all of the fall branches I found at Amazon home. I am going to use many of them in my holiday decor (such as the red pomegranates) and will be adding more holiday branches to my collection soon.

It's been such a fun week and I loved sharing so many exciting and creative ideas with you. About ten years ago I found a small set of Cranberry Glass at an antique flea market. A few years later my mother-in-law gave me some of her mother’s Cranberry Glass. It’s now one of my favorite things to collect. I am so excited to share with you easy elegance Wednesdays, where we celebrate simple elegant decor. Today I am sharing my five best table setting tips for fall. I created a fantastic family gathering place and I love it so much! I was inspired by the incredible book Inspired Gatherings by Courtney Allison. I love adding fall kitchen decorations in our home. This year I used a lot of fall branches. They are my favorite and I can't wait to share my fall decor ideas with you. I am so happy my original painted pumpkin project didn't work because it led me to create this deconstructed easy painted pumpkin! I love it.On The Blog This Week
My New Amazon Store
Every time I write a new blog post I get a lot of messages and emails asking about where I bought a lot of the items in my post. For a while, I have really wanted to be able to provide the information in advance, so I set up an Amazon Store. My store has all of my favorite items in lots of different categories.
