For some reason, I forget every year how much I love fall decor. And my fall decor DIY projects!
I have no idea why I don’t remember how great this season is, but now that it is mid-September, I am embracing fall decor in a really big way.
I love the colors, the textures, and the wonderful branches and greenery of fall.
I looked back on my blog and found so many great DIY fall decor DIY projects. I thought it might be fun to share them with you today.
I have made a lot of pumpkins and floral arrangements and wreaths. I absolutely love these pumpkins!

Halloween is a really big deal in our town. But now that our kids are grown I tend to lean more toward fall decorations for Halloween than skeletons and spiders! Today I am sharing how I decorated our home for fall and Halloween. I also shared my DIY’s to make a wreath for our front door and painted pumpkins for our entryway. I shopped and I am so happy with all of my new fall decor. I made both the colorful fabric pumpkins (with driftwood stems!) and the chunky blanket. I can't wait to share how easy they both were to make! (The blanket did not require knitting needles or a crochet hook!) I am so excited to share another fall craft idea! I had so much fun making these fall leaves for our family room. And this table just might be my favorite one ever. I love making wreaths for fall and this has to be my favorite DIY wreath ever! Today I am sharing everything you need to know to make this copper metal wreath plus my favorite wreaths for fall. I am so happy my original painted pumpkin project didn't work because it led me to create this deconstructed easy painted pumpkin! I love it so much. My favorite fall decor DIY project is making my own fall wreath. I have a grapevine wreath that I just stick fall florals into (I don’t even use hot glue or wire) and I have an easy and inexpensive fall decoration that I can easily change as the mood strikes me.

My favorite fall decor DIY project is the chunky blanket with pom poms. That just looks so cozy and warm. I’m sure that is a craft to enjoy not only in fall, but well into the winter months! I crochet so it really interested me to try something without a hook. That is a project I have to try! Thanks..

My favorite DIY fall decor is your wreath! The pairing of color and texture are stunning. I’ve attempted wreaths in the past and they never turn out so lovely 🙂
My fav DIY is making velvet and other fabric pumpkins, and gluing actual pumpkin stems on the top. I filled them with dry beans and then some batting. I got the stems from the store, in the bottom of the box were a whole bunch of broken ones. So fun and I use them in some way every year.
