Our Airbnb Waco Home
I get questions about our Airbnb Waco home every week, so I am taking you on a tour today! Get ready; you are going to love it!
My dream for our Airbnb Waco home was to create a vacation home where our home feels like yours. I have poured my heart into this home and love everything about it.
A Bit About Our Airbnb Waco Home
Our Airbnb Waco rental is a one hundred year old home that has been completely redone as everything was remodeled. Fortunately, we could use the original wood floors, wood ceilings, and the shiplap. There are lots of “before” photos on my blog if you want to see what it used to look like.
I get asked all the time how to book our Airbnb Waco home. All you need to do is click on this link to book our WACO AIRBNB and follow the link to make a reservation. It’s that simple.
Our home has a large open concept with an adjoining living room, dining room, and kitchen. It also has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ready for a tour? Let’s go!
I may sometimes use affiliate links on this blog, which means a small commission is earned if you purchase via the link. The price will be the same whether you use the affiliate link or go directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link.
Three Large Bedrooms
The home has three bedrooms and two baths. This is the primary bedroom suite.
There are also two additional bedrooms with two queen beds.
I love this room so much. This was the first room that was finished and furnished and I cried when I placed the last pillow on the bed because I knew my dream had come true.

The Kitchen
The kitchen has state-of-the-art appliances and is fully outfitted as a gourmet kitchen. The island is a vintage piece I picked up at Round Top. Isn’t it amazing?
Open shelves are perfect for an Airbnb because they make it easy for our guests to find items like glassware, which is used all the time!
Isn’t this a fun kitchen? It’s light and airy, and it’s a very fun place to cook. It’s a wonderful layout for cooking and entertaining, and this layout would work in any home.
The floors in the house are mostly original. Since we expanded the back of the home, I had to find flooring for the kitchen that would match. I can’t believe that I found floorboards that match perfectly! The horizontal boards show where we added the new (but old) flooring.
The shiplap is on two sides of the open living area. I just love it! This is an older photo of our kitchen because I added some ceiling tiles to the back area of the stove, and I love them. You can see how I did this at How to Tile a Backsplash with Vintage Tiles.
The Dining Room
Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room. The dining table seats eight, making it the perfect spot for entertaining.
See the vintage cabinet on the right side? That’s the pantry and storage spot for the microwave.
The dining room opens up to both the living room and the kitchen, and our home has excellent Wi-Fi and a satellite TV, which is hiding in the cabinet on the left side, as seen below.
The Living Room
You might recognize the vintage ladder chandelier I made. It is similar to the one we have in our home in California.
The Exterior
We added a new roof and a wrap-around porch when we remodeled the home. There is a huge oak tree on the property and the porch enjoys a great view. The French doors open in the dining room open out to the wrap-around porch. One of my favorite things is to sit out on our porch and read a book. It is so relaxing.
Isn’t this porch amazing?
Look at the cute logo I made for Airbnb. It is embroidered on all the towels and bathrobes in our Airbnb Waco home.
The Waco Home Remodel Process
I thought you might enjoy a few blog posts about the remodel.
The Waco Airbnb
We shopped for a home in Waco we could fix up and turn into a short term rental. It was an experience.
More progress on the fixer-upper.
I have been busy and look what we found as a project in Waco!
A fun progress report on the Waco remodel.
More decisions and more progress!
I love how the laundry room came out.
I love the affordable tile we used in the guest bathroom.
The kitchen is finally finished!
Furnishing the living room and dining room with new furniture and vintage pieces was one of my most favorite projects.
This bedroom is just magnificent.
We finally finished the exterior of the home.
Can you guess what was the biggest mistake I made in the remodel of our fixer-upper?
We have decorated the Waco Airbnb for Christmas!
The fixer upper is finally done!

Everything you did here is amazing. With so much going on in our lives right now, we can’t afford to travel. However, whomever is fortunate enough to stay at your air b&b are so lucky. I am so jealous that we cannot currently share in that experience of staying there, because your place is truly gorgeous
