Our Airbnb Waco Home
There were so many questions last week about our Airbnb Waco home, so today, I am taking you on a tour! Get ready, you are going to love it!
My dream for our Airbnb Waco home was to create a vacation home where our home feels like yours. I have poured my heart into this home and I love everything about it.
Our Airbnb Waco rental is a one hundred year old home that has been completely redone and every single thing was remodeled. Fortunately, we were able to use the original wood floors, the wood ceilings, and the shiplap. There are lots of “before” photos on my blog if you want to see what it used to look like.
My new book, A Home to Share, is available for Pre-order now! Click here for more details!
A Bit About Our Airbnb Waco Home
I get asked all of the time how to book our Airbnb Waco home. All you need to do is click on this link to book our WACO AIRBNB. Follow the link to make a reservation. It’s that simple.
Our home has a large open concept with an adjoining living room, dining room, and kitchen. It also has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ready for a tour? Let’s go!
Three Large Bedrooms
The home has three bedrooms and two baths. This is the primary bedroom suite.
There are also two additional bedrooms with two queen beds.
I love this room so much. This was the first room that was finished and furnished and I cried when I placed the last pillow on the bed because I knew my dream had come true.

The kitchen has state-of-the-art appliances and is fully outfitted as a gourmet kitchen. The island is a vintage piece I picked up at Round Top. Isn’t it amazing?
Open shelves are perfect for an Airbnb because it makes it easy for our guests to find items like glassware which is used all of the time!
Isn’t this a fun kitchen? It’s light and airy and a very fun place to cook. It’s a wonderful layout to cook and entertain in. This layout would work in any home.
The floors in the house are mostly original. Since we expanded the back of the home, I had to find flooring for the kitchen that would match. I can’t believe that I found some floor boards that match perfectly! The horizontal boards show where we added in the new (but old) flooring.
The shiplap is on two sides of the open living area. I just love it! Since this photo was taken, I added some ceiling tiles to the back area of the stove and I love them. You can see it at How to Tile a Backsplash with Vintage Tiles.
The Dining Room
Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining room. The dining table seats eight and it is the perfect spot for entertaining.
See the vintage cabinet on the right side? That’s the pantry and storage spot for the microwave.
The dining room opens up to both the living room and the kitchen and our home has excellent wifi and a satellite TV which is hiding in the cabinet on the left side as seen below.
The Living Room
You might recognize the vintage ladder chandelier I made. It is similar to the one we have in our home in California.
When we remodeled the home we added a new roof and a wrap-around porch. There is a huge oak tree on the property and the porch enjoys a great view. The french doors open in the dining room open out to the wrap-around porch. One of my favorite things is to sit out on our porch and read a book. It is so relaxing.
Look at the logo that the cute logo that I had made for the Airbnb. It is embroidered on all of the towels and bathrobes in our Airbnb Waco home.
Here are a few blog posts about the remodel that I thought you might enjoy.

Furnishing the living room and dining room with new furniture and vintage pieces was one of my most favorite projects.

Can you guess what was the biggest mistake I made in the remodel of our fixer-upper?
