I loved that you all really responded to different types of posts! I was most surprised about the posts I wrote where I didn’t agree with some of the latest trends. They might have been a bit controversial but as you all know, I have no trouble sharing my opinions. I can’t wait to see what you think of the list!

Here are my Top Ten Blog Posts from 2022. I can’t wait to share them with you! And they are listed in no particular order.
#1 – Are White Traditional Kitchens Going Out of Style?
This post was hands down the most popular post of the year. There were so many comments on this. If you didn’t have a chance to read this post, now is your chance! Let me know what your thoughts are.
#2 – Has the Open Concept Kitchen Plan Gone Out of Style?
As the articles swirled this year about what is in style and what is going out of style, I shared my perspective on the open kitchen concept, spoiler alert, I am a fan. You all shared your opinions as well. Click below and weigh in with your opinion.
#3 – Is Farmhouse Going Out of Style
Farmhouse style is truly an American style. I love it and apparently, all of you do too. Read the post to see where I think the style will evolve.

I made this recipe for the first time at the launch party for my book, A Home to Share. It was a huge hit at the party and a huge hit on the blog.
#5 – Very Best Pear Bread Recipe
I am so lucky to receive Harry & David pears at Christmas. I adapted my banana bread recipe, reducing the amount of butter, and created this incredible recipe. If you have not tried it, you are missing a very special recipe.
#6 – Meyer Lemon Cream Pie with a Twist
This recipe was a surprise to me as well. It is so easy and so incredibly delicious. I now get requests to include this pie on menus, year-round.
#7 – The Five Minute Winter Wreath DIY
I am a craft-o-holic is that is a thing. This five minute wreath turned out so pretty and literally took five minutes. No artistic ability is required, just a glue gun, a willow wreath and wood flowers!
#8 – How to Make Flower Cupcakes
I am a self-taught cake/cookie decorator. This means if I can teach myself, so can you! The trick to these flower cupcakes is the frosting tip. Click the link for all of the details.
Entertaining is truly one of my favorite things. I love creating the concept, planning the menu, creating the invitation and most of all, setting the table. Two of the top posts this year involved entertaining. Did you have a favorite post?

This table came together rather serendipitously. I was planning a hosted dinner party for eight people we didn’t know. Yes, you read that correctly. Click below for all of the details.
#10 – A Home to Share Book Launch Backyard Party
Perhaps the highlight of the year for me was the launch party we threw in our backyard for my book, A Home to Share. It was incredible to meet so many of you in person. I am honored and grateful that so many of you traveled for the party. This post shares the highlights of the gathering.
