I am asked almost every day about our home paint colors. To make it easier for all of you, I have listed all of our paint colors in one place.
Thanks so much for your interest in our home paint colors. I have consolidated all of our paint colors below and included photos so you can make sure you are looking at the right room! Please remember that I edit my photos, so the actual paint color may not be the exact same color as it is in my photo.
I wanted to try to explain how I chose our home paint colors. I wish I had a scientific explanation, but I don’t. The trim and cabinets in our entire home are Dunn Edwards Swiss Coffee. I have always thought the dining room is one place where dark paint usually works and my dining room paint color is, in fact, the darkest of any color in our home.
I think our color palette is fairly neutral but we actually have eleven different wall colors in our home. I am thinking about changing some of the colors and I can’t wait to start on that project next year.

How to Match Paint Colors
Dunn Edwards is a west coast based paint company. So how can you find a matching color from a different paint brand? I like to use Encycolorpedia which allows you to type in any paint color and it will suggest matching paint colors from other brands.

My 100 Year Old Waco Home
You might be surprised to learn that we only used four home paint colors in our entire Waco home! The interior of the home is all the same color.

I often get asked about the paint color on the kitchen island in our Waco home. I bought this island at the Round Top Antique Show and it is vintage. I think it could even be the original color. Sadly, I do not know what the color is. I am so sorry!

Have been using Swiss Coffee, in Texas was Benjamin Moore, so when we moved back to California I continued using it, Benjamin Moore again. Didn’t realize the outside of your home was the same color…it is just the best creamy white color you could ever find, inside or outside.

Can you suggest a “haint” blue for my Atlanta front porch ceiling? So many are more on the turquoisey side
can you tell us your thoughts on dustruffles on the beds to hide the underpart of the bed or to use a clean bed mattress/springs stand that shows neat legs and easier to dust and vacumn under beds. i am concerned with bugs, scorpions crawling on dustruffles and other bugs. give us your opinions

Isn’t it incredible Denise? It is vintage, I found it many, many years ago at a vintage flea market. The crystals throw the most amazing rainbows around the room when the light is turned on.
