My Favorite Christmas Wreaths

I am a huge fan of decorating with wreaths. I love so many different Christmas wreaths and today I am sharing my favorites.

Christmas wreaths … we can buy them fresh, buy them faux, and make our own. That’s why I love hanging wreaths all over our home every holiday!

Christmas Wreaths for Windows

Hanging Christmas wreaths all over your home during the holiday season can be a delightful and festive tradition. Traditionally, wreaths represent eternal life and growth due to their circular shape, which has no beginning or end.

There is no doubt that I love putting wreaths in the windows of our home. I have used Christmas wreaths in our windows every year for as long as I can remember. I bought these wreaths in my old craft room years ago and I own about 15 of them!

I love hanging holiday wreaths in the kitchen.

As you can probably tell, a lot of the wreaths in our home are fresh.

Do I have a favorite wreath? No! I love them all.

And I love them in our Waco kitchen too.

These are the same wreaths that make our house so festive. I was so obsessed with these a few years ago that I bought them for the Waco house too.

How about the wreaths in our family room windows? Once again, these are fresh. And very inexpensive!

Or what about the dining room? These are fresh too!

Adding a Christmas wreath to your windows is one of the most beautiful and impactful Christmas decorations you can use. I have used fresh holiday wreaths (from Trader Joe’s) every year. They are inexpensive and make every room smell like Christmas!

I also buy Christmas faux wreaths that are on sale because I love using them year after year. They are a great investment and look fabulous in any window too!

As I mentioned, I usually buy my fresh wreaths every year at Trader Joe’s. You can also find them at The Home Depot, a local floral mart, and local grocery stores.

Tips for Buying Wreaths for Your Home

Measure your windows! Most of the windows in our home are over 100 years old and some are different sizes. Our larger kitchen windows can only handle a maximum of 24″ wreaths. The three smaller kitchen windows can only hold 15″ wreaths. So many wreaths are 30″ wide which is too big for most of our windows.

Don’t forget to consider hanging wreaths on interior doors, french doors, and the inside of exterior doors.

Hanging wreaths is not hard to do. If you are hanging a wreath on a door, use a ribbon and attach it to the top of the door with a thumbtack. Hammer the thumbtack flat so it won’t affect the door opening and closing. For windows, you can use a command hook and hang a wreath directly on the glass. I put small tiny nails in the wood dividers of my windows about fifteen years ago. They are still there and I use them all year long. The nails can’t be seen (unless you look hard!) so they stay up all year long.
