Pink Decor in the Family Room
I love to add Valentine’s day decor to our home. Today I am sharing how to use pink decor in the family room. In a cozy and comfortable way.
I added pink decor with pink wall decor, pink pillows, pink flowers, and a pink table setting. Although everything is temporary, the decor has such a pretty feel in the room. We are ready for Valentine’s Day.
Pink Decor in the Family Room
When I change the decor in any room in our home, the first thing I do is clear out the accessories that need to be replaced. Then I search for one item that will serve as the anchor for the new decor in the room.
To decorate our family room with pink decor, I sat down at our table and scrolled through the art options on our Samsung Frame TV. When I found the pink modern piece of art, I knew I had found the anchor for the room!

Shopping Your Home for Accessories
The next step was to shop my home.
Pink Pillows
The first thing I went looking for were pink accessories. I started with pillow covers, and given the large number of pillow DIY’s I have made over the years, this was a very easy task!
Here are some of the ones I had to choose from:
I quickly pulled off the blue and sage green pillow covers on the sectional and chair and replaced them with pink.
I wanted to mention that having a collection of pillow covers in a few colors makes it really easy and inexpensive to change your decor. Of course, I didn’t buy any new pillow covers. Rather, I just used what I have made or purchased from the years before. (Although in this case, all of the pillows I used were DIYs.)
Pink Decor Accessories
Next, I found a pink candle and a pink glass jar and I placed them in the sitting area. Next, I gathered a few of the Valentine DIYs I had made. I put the DIY pink metal leaf apples and some of the DIY clay conversation hearts in a large vintage ironstone tray on the coffee table.
I love that the clay conversation hearts look like you could pop them in your mouth and eat them!
Of course, you should not do that!
Lastly, I added some pink faux hydrangeas to my vintage white champagne crate and placed it under my Frame TV.
Pink Table
I had a lot of fun setting up this pink table and I pulled out some pink placemats I found last year on Amazon. I topped them with a white charger and pink plates. Next, I added pink water glasses and my clear glass and silver wine glasses and I even found the pink and white polka dot pom pom napkins I made!
Here is the DIY to make the Pink Pom Pom napkins.
Pink Centerpiece
Next, I ran to the grocery store and put together a centerpiece and I used white and pink roses and some mums. I used one of my favorite “vintage-looking” vases for the centerpiece and I love how the arrangement came out.
I hope my pink room decor ideas have given you some ways to add a bit of Valentine’s feel to your home. Just don’t forget to shop your home first!
