Nine Craft Ideas to Try Next Week
I am so excited to share nine craft ideas that you might want to try after Christmas. These are perfect projects to enjoy before the new year.
Christmas is almost here (it’s tomorrow), and I thought it might be fun to share some craft projects you can try next week.
Crafts are a very fun project to do between the holidays and all of these crafts are perfect to share in your home this winter.
This felt pillow is so easy to make. You can cut all of the petals with scissors or your Cricut machine. Change out the colors to match the season or your decor. These pine cone trees are my favorite. I loved making them and they would look great in your home this winter. I love making paper flowers and these are so easy to make! This is the perfect time to try this very fun craft. I made these canvas bags and I absolutely love them. This pillow is made with rolled fabric. You can use a dropcloth or fabric scraps. It is so festive and fun to make. I love the colors of the pillow and this is a very fun DIY. Free motion embroidery is so much fun to do and it is not hard. You can make any design with paint and stitch in the details. Be sure to check this out. I love these painted glasses. They are so easy to make and would be perfect to enjoy for the new year in any color. Even though this pillow is made with holiday ornaments, you could use hearts or snowflakes or just about any shape that works for the new year.Nine Craft Ideas to Try Next Week

We have an old farm house with white windows and I am seriously thinking to paint the trim in the kitchen black , what are your thoughts ? The new part of the farmhouse is wide beautiful trim and was made to match the kitchen which is original but can’t make myself rip off the original woodwork off . Question – can I mix and match from dark oak trim to black in some parts of the house ?
I love your blog your are amazing I look so forward too your new ideas , they are so tastefully done . Great job ! Hope you don’t mind my questions as I’m sure I’ll have more .
Thanks so much !

Sandi, thank you for reaching out and for your kind words. I think you are looking to achieve the industrial/iron window look. It is a very popular trend one I haven’t tried yet. Specifically to your question about mix and match, you can certainly do anything you like, there aren’t any rules!
