My Favorite Summer Desserts

|

I love to cook in the summertime and today I am sharing my favorite summer desserts.  All of these recipes are amazing and delicious!

It’s my birthday so today I am sharing recipes for macarons, summer cakes, ice cream, a frozen pie, a summer pie, popsicles, s’mores, cobbler, and more tasty desserts. I loved making each of these desserts and I guess you could say these are all of my favorite summer desserts.

Homemade Macarons

Some of these tasty desserts are really simple and others are more difficult. And yet they all taste amazing! And they can all be made as a birthday dessert!

Meyer Lemon Cream Pie with a Twist

Summer desserts can be similar and yet so different! I love light and fluffy desserts which can be lemon cream pie or homemade marshmallows. Both taste great and are so perfect for warm summer nights.

On my blog, I may sometimes use affiliate links, which means a small commission is earned if you make a purchase via the link. The price you pay will be the same whether you use the affiliate link or go directly to the vendor’s website using a non-affiliate link.

But what about homemade marshmallows and s’mores? Hello! Desserts don’t get any better than this! Especially on a summer evening.

Many of you know how much I love to cook. It’s relaxing and I really enjoy it. It’s fun to open up the pantry and drab some ingredients and decide what to make. Especially if it is a summer dessert!

To me, nothing is better than serving a fabulous dessert at the end of a dinner. Summer evenings, when the air is thick with the lingering heat of the day and the heady scents of sunscreen and citronella, seem to beg for a sweet ending to the day. Everything is a little slower and sweeter in the summer.

If you want a really simple summer dessert, then I suggest you make this Frozen Limeaid Pie. It really is easy to make.

And I can promise you that it tastes delicious!

One of the reasons I love making desserts is that it is easy. What makes it easy? I have a well-stocked pantry. I put together a list of all of the things I try to keep in my pantry. You can find my list here.

Here is a list of all of my favorite summer desserts. I hope you will make some of these desserts and get as much pleasure as I did serving them to my boys.

you can do some conversions with applesauce (rather than oil for example) etc.
If you can make a super pastry like this or citrus cake orange/lemony for summer.

  14. Happy Birthday Leslie. Hope you have a fabulous day and didn’t work too hard. All your recipes look so delicious and I really need to try the Mini Apple Pies in Ball Jars. My mom always made desserts when we were growing up, me, not so much. I always seem to run out of time. I am so going to make it a priority in making at least some of
them. BUT that basic 1-2-3-4 Basic Cake – in the Kitchen is absolutely beautiful – a show stopper. Also, your presentation on all of them is amazing. Take care.
