Christmas Ornaments DIY
I created a printable pattern for the Christmas Ornament DIY.
These ornaments are made out of cardstock and so easy and fun to make!
Today I am sharing a Christmas Ornaments DIY. I made these red and white vintage styled 3-D ornaments that are made from heavy cardstock. They are easy to make and I love how they turned out. I am part of a blog hop today with some wonderful bloggers and we are all sharing a printable DIY. Be sure to head to the bottom of this post and see all of the amazing free printables.
I made mine on my Cricut machine, and today I am sharing the Cricut Design file. If you don’t have a Cricut machine, you can also print my pattern and cut them out with scissors.
How to Make a Vintage Christmas Ornament
Each ornament consists of three identical cut ornaments. I added a score line (which my Cricut machine added) and then cut them. Each sheet makes two small and two medium-sized ornaments.
I love that they pop out so easily.
If you cut these yourself, then you can easily add the score line with a ruler.
Next, all you have to do is glue the three ornaments together.
Just place the glue on the backside and attach each ornament together one at a time.
Let the glue dry.
I opted to add glitter to the ornament so I sprayed them with adhesive spray and sprinkled some glitter crystal. I love the effect the glitter adds to the ornaments.
I added some metallic string that I have had in my craft room for a few years. I will likely hang these on one of our trees as soon as I get our house decorated for the holidays. I hope to start next week!
