Christmas Crafts in July
Every July, when I start seeing Christmas in July posts I usually think “No! The last thing I want to think about is Christmas!”. As expected, I had that thought a few weeks ago.
But then I started thinking. If I made two Christmas crafts for each month, July through Novemmber, I would have ten, yes TEN new holiday crafts to share for the holidays.
Now that caught my attention! I have already started creating my project idea list and even though you won’t see any crafts for five months, you can know that I will be secretly crafting behind the scenes.
(It’s just like the book I wrote last year that I kept a secret for 18 months … hehehe.)
I went through my own holiday crafts and picked out some of my favorites for you to make. I hope they stir your DIY creative interest!
A DIY Christmas Pillow
This DIY Christmas Pillow is one of my favorite crafts. It is so easy to make, you need minimal supplies and you will be amazed how many people will comment on how cute it is! Click here for the full DIY.
Personalized Placemats for Christmas Dinner
For these personalized placemats, I wanted to create a Christmas Dinner table with a personal flair. I created these personalized placemats by adding words to Christmas carols on them. You can personalize yours however you like. These were fun and easy to make!
How to Make A Christmas Tree Skirt
I absolutely love wool felt and this tree skirt requires no sewing machine. Yep, you read that correctly! You need only three items to make it and it is so, so cute!

Mercury Glass Ornaments
I absolutely adore mercury glass. I used clear glass ornaments and Looking Glass paint to make these mercury glass ornaments. They were fun to make and look so fancy!
Burlap Christmas Tree Garland
This burlap Christmas tree garland is another craft that is easy to make and is so, so cute! I can think of a million places to hang this. What about you?
Favorite Flocked Christmas Tree Craft
This craft is so much fun! Making these “flocked” trees is a throwback to elementary school and I love how they sparkle when they catch the light. This one is great to make with your children or grandchildren!
