My Favorite Places to Find Inexpensive Holiday Craft Supplies
I have been buying craft supplies for years and I am thrilled to share my favorite places to find inexpensive holiday craft supplies. You all know that I am always looking for a good bargain.
Craft Supplies are something that I have always loved to buy. I am so excited today to share with you my favorite places to buy inexpensive craft items.
I can’t believe it is already day three of Twelve Days to Get Ready for Christmas! My very amazing and talented friend KariAnne Wood at Thistlewood Farms and I are sharing tips for twelve days to help get you ready for Christmas.
Today we are sharing our Favorite Places to Find Inexpensive Holiday Craft Supplies. I have so many craft supplies in my craft room (and in the Carriage house) that I probably should have suggested “my house” as a great place to buy craft supplies.
For those of you that don’t have a huge stockpile of craft supplies, today I am sharing my favorite shopping sites.
You can find Karianne’s post today on her blog The Best Places to Find Inexpensive Craft Supplies. You must go check out her blog because she is amazing!
My Favorite Place to Find Inexpensive Craft Supplies
There are a few places I like to buy my craft projects. But hands down, my absolute favorite is JOANN.
JOANN
I think I average at least one visit to a JOANN store every single week. Part of that is due to the fact that I work with JOANN a lot and love creating blog posts with their amazing products. I also just love to visit their stores to shop the aisles when I am looking for a new craft idea or project.
Many of you have a JOANN store near you and I encourage you to stop by frequently. Their sales are amazing and I can’t even remember the last time I paid full price for anything. I recommend that you download the JOANN app on your phone because all of the coupons are listed and they can scan your phone at checkout. Their sales vary but often their merchandise will be 40% off. (Although right now most of the holiday decor is 60% off!) Sometimes it is discounted even more.
Here are some of the holiday crafts I have created with craft supplies from JOANN.
Last year I decorated my entire craft room last with holiday decor items from JOANN. I decorated my dress form (I named her IVY) with poinsettias and made her a flowered skirt. You can see more on my blog post here.
All of my craft supplies, such as scissors, paint, paper, Cricut craft supplies, pens, trim, tape, glue, and all of the other hundreds of craft supplies, are from JOANN.
Waco Home Christmas Decor
I also decorated our entire Waco Airbnb home with Christmas items from JOANN.
I love the Bloom Room Holiday Christmas Sugared Berry Spray and I was so happy when I saw them in stock at our JOANN store last week. I used the holly berry wreaths in our Waco Airbnb home and also in our home here in California. (Which means I have a ton of them!)
All of the details about how I decorated out Airbnb for the holidays are on my blog post here.
All of the other holiday decor items are from JOANN as well.
I also have a lot of the frosted holly wreaths. I just love them!
Christmas Tree Decorating
I also decorated a tree on our back porch with ornaments I bought and made from craft materials at JOANN.
You can find all of the details on my blog post here.
I poured paint inside these plastic ornaments because I couldn’t find ornaments in the shade of red that I wanted! They were so easy to make. Go here for the DIY.
I also made a paper garland with craft paper and twine. You can find the DIY here.
Don’t both of these craft projects look great on our Christmas tree on the back porch?
Finger Knitted Blanket
Joann also sells a loop yarn called Bernat Alize Blanket EZ Yarn. I made this blanket with my fingers. The yarn has loops so you don’t need a crochet hook or knitting needles. You will love this! To learn how to make this blanket, click here.
Amazon
I also have bought a lot of Christmas craft items from Amazon.
I have created some idea lists of my favorite items.
Savon Crafts
A few years ago I decorated our front porch with faux greens from Save On Crafts. I used tall birch branches with green berries, burgundy rose hip branches, and birch branch bundles. You can see everything I created on my blog post here.
They have a lot of great merchandise and great prices.

Gorgeous, Leslie! Do you recall how many skeins of the loop yarn you used for the blanket? I have been wanting to try this. Thank you!
