Creative Ideas for Gift Wrapping
Today I am sharing a really fun idea for the holidays! If you are looking for creative ideas for gift wrapping then you want to look at these very funny gift tag ideas!
I love that our family is not “formal”.
It’s because we add humor into almost everything we do.
Including wrapping presents.
If you look closely, you just might notice some very interesting gift tags.
One of my sons, whose shall remain nameless (but his name rhymes with Smichael), started wrapping his gifts with tags that needed to be “deciphered”. We had to figure out a clue or a funny saying to determine who the gift was for!
This year I decided to step it up another notch and I have had so much fun wrapping these gifts and creating name tags.
I think this might be exactly what we all need to add a very fun twist to your Christmas!
Welcome to Day Eight of Ten Days of Christmas Crafts.

Watch My Live Demo
I hosted a live demo today on my Facebook account. Just watch the demo to see how I made all of these very fun gift tags.
Here is the first silly gift tag. It requires you to add 4,503,687 and 6,598,305.
The answer is 11101992. Which can also be read as 11-10-1992, which is Matt’s birthday. Guess who gets this gift?
I love that these gifts are very festive and yet the tags are silly.
If you look at the next stack of gifts, the gift says DRAWEN in scrabble letters.
I don’t have a son named DRAWEN. But I do have a son named Andrew. Hahaha.
This next one takes a bit of figuring out.
It starts with me, then Dave, his father Phil, back to Dave and then Matt! Wait, Matt has two gifts already?
Can you figure out the one below? You need to find the words that say “For … and then a name of one of my sons”.
This might help.
How to Make These Creative Ideas for Gift Wrapping
You don’t need much to make these. You can always handwrite them
I used a website to make my own Reading Worksheet Generator as seen above. You just type in the words that you want to appear in the worksheet and it makes it for you.
To make the stamped tags you just need some tags and rubber stamps. I encourage you to have some fun coming up with ideas. And if you come up with any great ideas, please pass share them in the comments! I need more!
For the math “flash card”, I just typed it on the computer and printed it out. I cut it and attached it to a manila tag.
I hope you will use some of these ideas as your own. They are so much fun.
Don’t forget to join me at 10:00am PST today on my Facebook Live. I cannot wait to share all of my fun ideas. I have more to share too!
