Easy Fall Flower Arrangements
Today I am sharing one of my favorite fall flower arrangements. Fresh flowers on a table make any meal a special one!
Grocery store flowers were used to create this simple fall flower arrangement. How can something so simple make such a big impact?
I am being a bit of a rebel with my color scheme this fall. When I created this fall flower arrangement I thought I was going to use subtle fall tones. But then I went to the market, and you can see from the photograph above, what I came home with instead!
I have used a color palette of orange and pink many times. Remember the table I created with the hanging fall leaves? I love that table so much.
When setting the table for this dinner party, a funny thing happened. I just couldn’t decide which look I liked better.
The first option is a table with pumpkins and no pink candles.
The second option is a table with pink candles. And no pumpkins.
I still can’t decide which look I like more. Do you have a favorite?
New Wood Table Top
When I joined this amazing group of bloggers to create an easy fall flower arrangement, I was determined to set a table outside in our backyard. It’s been a while since I created a fun outdoor dining room and I was determined to do it.
The only problem is that I didn’t have the right-sized table. We have a gorgeous Arhaus table on our back porch that seats eight and two wood tabletops (that I made) that seat eight to ten.
So what did I do? I made another wood tabletop out of old wood fencing. It is smaller and fits on top of a small white folded table and cost me $12 to make. Yes, twelve dollars.
Doesn’t it look awesome?
Just so you know, I am so excited about this table because I have so many different ideas and ways I am going to use this tabletop.
Easy Fall Flower Arrangements
I made my easy fall flower arrangements with flowers from Trader Joe’s. I love using grocery store flowers and I love that Trader Joe’s usually has my favorite green eucalyptus for sale (for $3).
Whenever I make floral arrangements from grocery store flowers, I don’t enter the store with an idea for my arrangement. Rather, I decide what to make with the flowers available. I love that it is sort of a challenge.
Here are the flowers I purchased.
Mixing rustic with pretty flowers is something I love to do. This calf feed bucket is from one of my favorite vintage vendors, Through the Porthole.
If you are using a vintage vessel of any kind, make sure to line it before you add water! I lined the bucket with a plastic bag and first added the eucalyptus.
I like my flower arrangements to be loose and not perfect. That’s more my style!
Next, I added Gerbera daisies and tulips in pink and orange.
I absolutely love how this arrangement came out and I even timed how long it took me to make this arrangement. It was a total of only twenty minutes!
I should probably mention that I set a table for a dinner party for six and forgot one thing. I forgot to invite the guests!
It’s true. It’s been a crazy week, my boys don’t live at home anymore, so I created this with no intention of actually hosting a dinner party in person.
This means my table, with one of my favorite fall flower arrangements, was created solely for all of you to enjoy.
You are my guests for this dinner party. Enjoy!

I purchased the white cotton napkins that you suggested and am loving them! They wash beautifully (no ironing) and easy to get stains out. Thanks for the hint and for all of your wonderful ideas to make our homes special. I have painted pillow covers and made pumpkins, all your inspiration!
Love this tablescape Leslie. The pink and orange gerberas look great together. Is it possible for you to write a tutorial on how you made the fence paling tabletop? I have some fence palings I would love to do this with. Always love your posts, although sometimes you really wear me out hahaha.
If you search my blog for wood tabletop, I have a very similar option to make! Thank you so much!
