I love setting tables and today I am sharing an easy fall flower arrangement. I used grocery store flowers to create this wonderful setting for a fall dinner party.
I know I am being a bit of a rebel with my color scheme this fall. When I created this easy fall flower arrangement I thought I was going to use subtle fall tones. But, as you can see from the photograph above, that did not happen.
I have used a color palette of orange and pink already a few times this fall. Remember the table I created with the hanging fall leaves? I love that table so much.
The funny thing is, there is some inconsistency in my photos. Don’t laugh, but I just couldn’t decide which look I liked better. The first choice is a table with pumpkins and no pink candles.
The second choice is a table with pink candles. And no pumpkins.
New Wood Table Top
When I joined this amazing group of bloggers to create an easy fall flower arrangement, I was determined to set a table outside in our backyard. It’s been a while since I have created a fun outdoor dining room and I was determined to do it.
The only problem is that I didn’t have the right sized table. We have a gorgeous Arhaus table on our back porch that seats eight and two wood tabletops (that I made) that seat eight to ten.
So what did I do? I made another wood tabletop out of old wood fencing. It is smaller and fits on top of a small white folded table and cost me $12 to make. Yes, twelve dollars. Next week I will share exactly how I made it.
Doesn’t it look awesome?
I am so excited about this table because I have so many different ideas and ways I am going to use this table top.
Easy Fall Flower Arrangements
I made my easy fall flower arrangement with flowers from Trader Joe’s. I love using grocery store flowers and I love that Trader Joe’s usually has my favorite green eucalyptus for sale (for $3).
Whenever I make a floral arrangement from grocery store flowers, I don’t enter the store with an idea for my arrangement. Rather, I decide what to make with the flowers available. I love that it is sort of a challenge.
Here are the flowers I purchased.
I wanted to use a rustic vessel for my easy fall flower arrangement. I got this calf feed bucket from one of my favorite vintage vendors, Through the Porthole. I absolutely love it.
I lined the bucket with a plastic bag and first added the eucalyptus.
I love the loose look and feel of this arrangement.
Next, I added Gerber daisies and tulips in pink and orange.
I absolutely love how this arrangement came out. I timed how long it took me to make this arrangement. It was twenty minutes.
I might have mentioned on my Instagram yesterday that I set a table for a dinner party for six and forgot one thing. The guests!
It’s true. This table doesn’t meet my social distancing standards and none of our boys are home. So I created this with no intention of actually hosting a dinner party in person.
This means my table, with an easy fall flower arrangement, was created solely for all of you to enjoy.
You are my guests for this dinner party. Enjoy!
Enjoy all of these amazing Fall Floral Arrangements created by some very talented bloggers.
