The Best Bridal Shower Decorations
Planning the perfect bridal shower decorations for my son Michael and his fiancée Ellie was fun, a celebration of love, and an opportunity to create lasting memories.
Partnering with Bed Bath & Beyond, I embarked on a journey to curate a bridal shower that reflected the couple’s tastes and personalities, infused with my style. The theme? A classic and elegant blue and white, a nod to both tradition and modern sophistication.

The Bridal Shower Decorations: A Blue and White Dream
My son Michael and his fiance Ellie were engaged last year and last month they registered for the new and exciting Bridal Registry at Bed Bath & Beyond.
So what was next?
Planning a bridal shower of course!
Bridal Shower Decorations on the Table
My adventure began on the Bed Bath & Beyond website, a treasure trove for anyone looking to decorate for a special occasion. The blue and white theme guided my selection, ensuring each piece not only harmonized with the color scheme but resonated with Michael and Ellie’s aesthetic preferences.
The table setting was paramount, acting as the event’s centerpiece and a symbol of the gathering of family and friends.
For the table, I selected:
- Spode Blue Italian Brocato Dinner Plates Set of 4 – 10.5 inch
- Bormioli Rocco Novecento Barware Glass Stackable Set of 4 for beverages.
- Grangusto Italiana Tempered Flat Plates Set of 6, providing a durable yet stylish foundation for the culinary delights.
- Set of 2 Silver Shabbat Tabletop Candlesticks and Henckels Plaza 65-pc 18/10 Stainless Steel Flatware Set, adding a touch of elegance.
- Ashley Furniture Lemmitt Blue Vases, alongside a C12″x12″ Cottage Blue White Flower Melamine Serveware Serveware bowl and 9″x9″ Cottage Blue White Flower Melamine Dinnerware Salad Plate, adorned the table with charm.
- 10.5″ Tuscan Ceramic Blue Scroll Urn Vase became a focal point on the sideboard, filled with fresh flowers.
- Round Braided Placemats Set of 6, Euro Ceramica Chloe 11″ Cake Stand/Footed Plate, and an Every Time White Salad Bowl 144oz completed the setup, each piece contributing to the shower’s serene and welcoming atmosphere.
Folded Napkins
As a twist, I thought it might be fun to fold the napkins into wedding gowns. It took me a while to figure it out, but I think they look great. I used some thin white organza ribbon as the sash/napkin ring. You can use any napkins you want but the lace edging was a nice touch.
The Centerpiece: A Unique Touch
The two blue vases on the table are stunning and the fresh flowers add the perfect touch.
The highlight of the table was undoubtedly the small wedding dress shop centerpiece I created. I had the idea and hoped it would turn out because there was a lot involved.
I needed to find the dress rack that was the right size for the cookies, bake and decorate the cookies, package them, and figure out how to hang them all.
Utilizing eight of the homemade sugar cookies, each meticulously decorated (by me!) to resemble different wedding gowns, I displayed them on a doll dress stand. These not only served as a charming focal point but doubled as thoughtful favors for our guests, embodying the personal touch and creativity that went into planning the event.
Stay tuned this week as I promise to share everything you need to know to make this adorable wedding dress centerpiece!
I also made these oyster shell crafts to hold small white candies that were placed at each table setting.
The DIY for this craft will be posted this week.
The Menu: A Feast for the Senses
The luncheon menu featured a delightful chicken salad accompanied by homemade dairy and gluten-free muffins, catering to a range of dietary preferences and ensuring that every guest could indulge in the culinary offerings.
The two bowls were perfect for serving the salads.
And here is the salad recipe that you can honestly serve all year long.

- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish, sprinkled it with olive oil, salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning and bake at 350 for twenty-five minutes. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Mix all ingredients for salad dressing in a container and shake.
- Mix all salad ingredients (or place in containers as a salad bar). Add sugared almonds and sprinkle with dressing.
The blueberry and poppyseed gluten and dairy-free muffins were a hit too.

What a beautiful party you gave your son and his fiancé. I love that you used the oyster shells as candy dishes. I have serval my friend makes and hadn’t thought to use them this way. But the centerpiece is the most amazing thing. Wow, just wow you are talented.
Aw thank you so much Pamela! It was so fun to get creative with it. I think those centerpieces are my favorite ones yet! ☺️🥰
What a beautiful shower-I had no idea Bed Bath and Beyond is still around, our local store closed. I love the cookies, and hope you’ll share how you made them. I look forward to the post for the oyster shells, I can think of many ways to use those.
Yes! Stay tuned for how to make them this week 👀
The chain was bought by Overstock which changed its name to Bed Bath & Beyond because of its name recognition.
Looks very nice. Just the table pieces and centerpiece from the sideboard from Bed Bath and Beyond total $996 — assuming when there were 6 items (like chargers) for one price that you bought two so you could serve 8 people. Then you had to purchase flowers and food…
Hi Kim! My goal is to share as many ideas as I can and of course I never expect anyone to do them all. It’s always a great idea to use what you have and enhance with any of my suggestions.
Congratulations to the young couple! That cookie centerpiece is fabulous! I have a similar cookie cutter and make them often for wedding showers, but your presentation is beyond the beyond! Can’t wait for the post!
Omg you have to do this centerpiece! It was too much fun and such a hit. Hehe stay tuned! ☺️
