The Best Bridal Shower Decorations

Planning the perfect bridal shower decorations for my son Michael and his fiancée Ellie was fun, a celebration of love, and an opportunity to create lasting memories.

Partnering with Bed Bath & Beyond, I embarked on a journey to curate a bridal shower that reflected the couple’s tastes and personalities, infused with my style. The theme? A classic and elegant blue and white, a nod to both tradition and modern sophistication.

The Bridal Shower Decorations: A Blue and White Dream

Three people standing together smiling in a dining room with a set table.

My son Michael and his fiance Ellie were engaged last year and last month they registered for the new and exciting Bridal Registry at Bed Bath & Beyond.

So what was next?

Planning a bridal shower of course!

Bridal Shower Decorations on the Table

Two individuals standing by a dining table set with plates and glasses, appearing to engage in a cheerful conversation.

My adventure began on the Bed Bath & Beyond website, a treasure trove for anyone looking to decorate for a special occasion. The blue and white theme guided my selection, ensuring each piece not only harmonized with the color scheme but resonated with Michael and Ellie’s aesthetic preferences.

The table setting was paramount, acting as the event’s centerpiece and a symbol of the gathering of family and friends.

For the table, I selected:

Folded Napkins

As a twist, I thought it might be fun to fold the napkins into wedding gowns. It took me a while to figure it out, but I think they look great. I used some thin white organza ribbon as the sash/napkin ring. You can use any napkins you want but the lace edging was a nice touch.

The Centerpiece: A Unique Touch

The two blue vases on the table are stunning and the fresh flowers add the perfect touch.

The highlight of the table was undoubtedly the small wedding dress shop centerpiece I created. I had the idea and hoped it would turn out because there was a lot involved.

I needed to find the dress rack that was the right size for the cookies, bake and decorate the cookies, package them, and figure out how to hang them all.

Utilizing eight of the homemade sugar cookies, each meticulously decorated (by me!) to resemble different wedding gowns, I displayed them on a doll dress stand. These not only served as a charming focal point but doubled as thoughtful favors for our guests, embodying the personal touch and creativity that went into planning the event.

Stay tuned this week as I promise to share everything you need to know to make this adorable wedding dress centerpiece!

I also made these oyster shell crafts to hold small white candies that were placed at each table setting.

The DIY for this craft will be posted this week.

The Menu: A Feast for the Senses

Three plates with green salads on a marble surface.

The luncheon menu featured a delightful chicken salad accompanied by homemade dairy and gluten-free muffins, catering to a range of dietary preferences and ensuring that every guest could indulge in the culinary offerings.

The two bowls were perfect for serving the salads.

And here is the salad recipe that you can honestly serve all year long.
