Staying Smart In the New Year

I love our new garage door opener at the beach. We now have a smart garage that offers in-garage delivery from Amazon!

Many of you remember that I partnered with Chamberlain Group Inc. (CGI) and installed a new LiftMaster Wi-Fi® garage door opener at our beach home in Ventura. The garage door is myQ-connected, which allows for in-garage delivery with the Amazon Key App, which has really come in handy over the past few weeks. #ad

During the holidays, this was so convenient. I can’t even begin to tell you how fabulous this was with all of the gifts I ordered from Amazon Prime. And now that the holidays are over, there are a lot of wonderful uses for myQ and in-garage delivery in the new year.

 

Keeping Packages Out of the Rain (and Snow)

We have had a lot of rain this year which is unusual for Southern California. Prior to getting our new LiftMaster Wi-Fi® garage door opener that is myQ-connected, I can’t tell you how many soggy packages were waiting for me by the front door. Now all of my packages are safe from the weather and waiting for me securely in my garage.

It’s the start of a new year and I have been ordering a lot of fitness and health-related products from Amazon. I love that my husband’s monthly order of Protein Powder is waiting for us in our garage. And just a few days ago my new athletic shoes were in there too.
