I love adding fall kitchen decorations in our home. This year is my favorite and I can’t wait to share my fall decor ideas with you.
Fall has officially arrived in our home. And so have the fall kitchen decorations.
Last week it was a gazillion degrees in Pasadena (ok, only 116 degrees) and I just didn’t have the desire to bring out the pumpkins.
Plus, did I mention our air conditioning was broken? Yes. It was awful.
I got the air conditioning fixed and decided that was the catalyst to add fall decorations.
Of course, I started in the kitchen first.
Today I have joined twenty other bloggers as we are sharing our new fall kitchen decorations. Be sure and scroll down for a lot of fall decor inspiration.
When decorating our kitchen I need to keep the decor minimal. I am an avid cook and I usually prepare dinner for about five to six nights a week. During the spring and fall this past year I was cooking for four or six almost every night, It was wonderful!
A working kitchen requires a lot of counter space so I can’t clutter my prep and cooking space with decor.
I kept my decor simple and primarily used faux greens and fresh pumpkins.
I bought all of the greens in our kitchen from Amazon.
Just click on the photo below or this link to see all of my favorite faux greens that I bought for our home.
The tomatoes are from the Farmer’s Market and really need to be cooked soon! I had hoped to make homemade tomato sauce but I am not sure if that is going to happen.
Aren’t these florals gorgeous?
I spent a long time cleaning our kitchen today. I want you to know that I loved my clean kitchen so much that I ordered take out for dinner tonight. That does not happen very often.
You might remember the copper wreath that I made last month. I hung it behind the stove and I love it there.
All of the pumpkins in our kitchen are fresh and they are from Trader Joe’s. They have so many and they are available for a great price.
Before I started blogging I don’t think I ever added fall decor in here. The colorful feel in our kitchen now makes me so happy and looks amazing in the morning light.
I hope this has inspired you to add some fall kitchen decorations. With a few simple faux arrangements and some fresh pumpkins, you can add a lot of color to your kitchen.
