Ideas for Fall Cozy Kitchen Decorations

I love adding fall cozy kitchen decorations to our home. These gorgeous fall foliage greens add so much color and beauty to our kitchen.

Fall Kitchen Decor

Fall has officially arrived in our home. And so have the fall cozy kitchen decorations.

It’s going to be warm this week in Pasadena (ok, about 100 degrees) so it’s way too early to put out any fresh pumpkins. In the meantime, I am adding beautiful branches to provide a pop of color.

Soon I will be sharing more fall decor ideas with you.

Fall Kitchen

As I mentioned, it’s time to add fall decor to our home.

Of course, I started in the kitchen first.

Fall Kitchen Decor Ideas

When decorating our kitchen I need to keep the decor minimal. I am an avid cook and I usually prepare dinner about five to six nights a week. During the summer I was cooking for four or six quite often. It was wonderful!

A working kitchen requires a lot of counter space so I can’t clutter my prep and cooking space with decor.

I kept my decor simple and primarily used faux greens and fresh pumpkins.

The tomatoes are from my garden and really need to be cooked soon! I already made homemade tomato sauce so I might make something else. Perhaps tomato jam?

Fall Kitchen Colors

Aren’t these florals gorgeous?

You might notice the hand-painted coasters I made that are stored in the wooden drawer.

Adding Color to Your Kitchen for Fall

I spent a long time cleaning our kitchen today. I want you to know that I loved my clean kitchen so much that I ordered take-out for dinner tonight. That does not happen very often.

You might remember the copper wreath that I made last year. I hung it behind the stove and I love how it looksit there.

All of the pumpkins in our cozy kitchen are faux. As soon as it cools down I will get some fresh pumpkins from Trader Joe’s. In a few weeks, they will have so many pumpkins that are available for a great price.

Fall Kitchen Decor Ideas

Before I started blogging I don’t think I ever added fall decor in here. The colorful feel in our kitchen now makes me so happy and looks amazing in the morning light.

I bought all of the greens in our kitchen from Amazon.

  1. I love how your kitchen turned out with the fall decorations! I like how you have a lamp on the island. Is it a functioning lamp? I don’t see any cord.

  2. Leslie,
I’m the same about decorating our kitchen for the seasons. I cook and bake so much that I like our kitchen to be functional. But, adding a splash of seasonal decor always makes me happy too!

  3. I am absolutely in love with your kitchen, and I adore the copper wreath! A few months ago I got my kitchen cabinets painted white. Now that my cabinets are updated, I’m excited to decorate our kitchen for fall this year. My kids love when I put tacky Halloween decorations up in our home, but this year I’m claiming the kitchen and putting up some classic fall decor. Thank you for the ideas!

  4. You share an outstanding post. In this post, I read so many essential info about the small kitchen. I am just planning to decor my small kitchen and searching kitchen decorating ideas. And I found you. I hope that it is really helpful for me. Seriously, thanks for all these awesomeness.

  5. The combo of colorful foliage and simple white cabinets is just stunning! I’m getting my cabinets updated by a cabinet refinisher in a few weeks, and I would love to use the same color as your cabinets! Do you know the specific shade or brand?

  6. So cheerful and appealing, I always love the fall colors and decorate the house quite a bit. Not there yet…it’s still 96 in Boulder…evil at altitude! The nights are nice and cool though. I have also always enjoyed cooking. When we redid the kitchen a few years ago we increased the counter space and added a 12 foot island. Room for decor and cooking! 🙂 This time of year I begin to really look forward to the holidays and am already planning ahead for that as well. We’re heading into the happy time of year.
