Fall food recipes are some of my favorites. Now that our kitchen is decked out for fall it is time to start cooking for fall.
Today I am sharing my fifteen best fall food recipes. I am ready to start cooking more and making some yummy fall favorites for my friends and family. You will not want to miss any of these, I promise!
I have so many fall recipes on my blog that I thought it would be fun to share my favorites. It took me a while but I finally narrowed it down to fifteen (ok, maybe 16) best fall food recipes.
There is something about fall that lends itself to cooking in the kitchen. The temperatures are lower and I find that we shift from lots of salad recipes to more baked recipes. We still grill a lot. In fact, we grill year-round. I have been known to grill in the rain. But why not? The food is delicious and the clean-up is so much easier.
I promise most of these fall food recipes are all very easy to make and delicious! (There is one exception – The Pear and Almond Cream Bourdaloue Pie is not easy. But it tastes so good it is worth it!)
This thick corn chowder has become a tradition at our house and it is served every Halloween. If you can, make it the night before because I think it is better on day two. And it's great with corn muffins.
My family loves muffins and I love creating new recipes that are healthy, tasty and easy to make. This cranberry pumpkin muffin recipe is so great! These muffins are moist and have a light brown sugar topping.
I make these Cranberry Orange Muffins every year for our holiday party. I usually slice them and fill with smoked turkey. Some years I have even tied bows around the sandwiches ... which is very festive but time-consuming!
My good friend Chef Monique Chan taught me how to make homemade pie crust and a Pear Almond Cream Pie. This fabulous dessert is also known as a Bourdaloue Pie Tart.
I do have a favorite recipe shared here. It has to be my crab cake recipe. It is amazing and everyone loves them! I served them at my Book Launch party and I am so glad they were well received again!

It doesn’t matter the time of year, I am always creating fun salads. This Fall Harvest Salad with Sweet Onion Dressing just might be my favorite. This also might be the prettiest salad I have ever made. The pomegranate seeds are not only a great fruity taste in this salad but they look great too!…
This Seared Ahi Tuna with Maple Ginger Soy Sauce Recipe is easy to make but an impressive ‘I can’t believe you made this” appetizer. It is always a favorite at our Christmas party and it’s one of my favorites. Everybody needs a quick and easy but super impressive appetizer recipe for the holidays. I have…
I had fun today converting one of my favorite recipes to gluten-free. I am thrilled to share my Gluten Free Cranberry Orange Scones recipe. Scones are one of my favorite things, but I am working hard to eliminate gluten from our diet. This recipe turned out so well. You will not even know it is…
Dining at a restaurant on Valentine’s Day is tough. The crowds, wait times and bad service are not fun. Most years my husband and I choose to dine at home. Which means I am always trying to come up with recipes to make our Valentine’s dinner special. Tonight I made a Fig, Gorgonzola and Chicken Ravioli…
Today I am sharing a new dessert recipe. It’s a Citrus Stained Lemon Tart Recipe and it is so good! I am pretty sure this is the first Citrus Stained Lemon Tart in the world. One of my favorite desserts is a lemon tart. But I don’t use regular lemons. I use Meyer lemons. I…
