Mothers Who Love to Craft Gift Guide

Mother’s Day Gifts for Moms Who Love to Craft Gift Guide

I love every single gift item on this list, and all would make great Mother’s Day gifts for mom. But I did have to mention these two additions.

Cricut Maker – This is one of my favorite crafting tools.

For the mom who loves to craft, this tool will raise the bar on crafts she can make. When I made paper flowers for all of the centerpieces at my son’s rehearsal dinner, I never could have done it without my Cricut Maker. It was a beautiful evening, and I was so proud to have made all the flowers myself! The Cricut is a perfect Mother’s Day gift.

Lia Griffith’s – Book Crepe Paper Flowers, The Beginner’s Guide to Making and Arranging Beautiful Blooms For the mother who loves to craft, this book is a must.

Lia Griffith is the queen of paper flowers. Her books are a wealth of information, with instructions on making crepe paper flowers that look real. They are fun to make, last forever and are wonderful crafts for any level of crafter.

Mothers Who Love to Read Gift Guide

Every single night when I get in bed, I read my Kindle. Sometimes I read for an hour, but most nights I read for about ten minutes. I love to read!

Kindle with Built-in Front Light – As I mentioned, I read a lot every night before I go to sleep. My Kindle is easy to take to the beach, outside on the patio, and with the front light, in bed at night without bothering my husband. Downloading books rather than lugging them around is one of my favorite things. Both books and magazines are downloadable. You can mark pages easily on the Kindle if you are like me and dog-ear pages in magazines. The Kindle is a thoughtful and liberating gift for Mothers Who Love to Read.

Atomic Habits – I could not recommend this book enough! I am passionate about creating healthier habits, and this book guides the way. James Clear is brilliant and inspiring. It is a must-read for all!

Matted Brass Gallery Wall Frame – I adore this frame. I set up a gallery wall in my family room to replace my vintage window frames and instantly fell in love. My family is the most extraordinary thing, and seeing unforgettable moments captured in these gorgeous frames completely warms my heart. Gifting a frame is such a personal and perfect gift for mom.

Round Decorative Tray – A great wooden tray is amazing and so versatile. This whitewashed tray is sleek and the perfect size. Whether it’s used to display items, be a purely decorative piece, or hold kitchen items like salt and pepper, this excellent decor item has no limit.

I get so much pleasure from entertaining my family and friends. All of the items here would make excellent gifts for Mom.

360° Rotatable Serving Tray – How amazing is this tray?! For mothers who love to host- this is a must! I used this tray for my delicious Valentine’s cookie sticks, and it was such a hit. A super fun way to serve any appetizer or dessert for your guests! P.S. It’s on sale right now!

Marble Charcuterie Board – Charcuterie boards are all the rage, and I love this one because it is marble with an extra personal monogrammed touch. It’s slightly different from the average charcuterie board and elevates the displayed items. It’s such a fun way to make something extra special.

Mothers Who Love to Garden Gift Guide

I did a lot of gardening this past month. I love it, but it’s hard! And I need more gardening stuff. So this list is pretty much my “wish list”!

Kitchen Garden Revival – This book has completely changed the way I garden! Nicole Burke is brilliant, and I watched and loved her fabulous online Kitchen Garden Academy. Thanks to Nicole, I have a gorgeous garden filled with beautiful vegetables! If your mother is a gardener, this book is a must-have.

Utility Garden Wagon – One of the most important things about gardening is having everything you need in one place. This utility garden wagon allows me to load everything I need into it and pull it behind me so I do not have to travel back and forth. It is a lifesaver, especially if you have a large yard.

    1. Carla, plant something fast growing. I don’t know where you live, but here in the South, we use crepe myrtles. Crepe myrtles love sun, and are fairly fast growing. The “Natchez” is white, and, at maturity, has beautiful cinnamon colored bark. I never, ever, trim my crepe myrtles – at least not in the fashion called “crepe-murder” by Southern Living garden editor, Steve Bender.
