A few years ago I completely changed my office into a craft room. My office was really dark and I didn’t like it. But the dark wood had been in our home for over 100 years so I just left it. It was kind of an unused room. More like a storage room.
I finally painted the room and the transformation was dramatic. I loved my new craft room. It was airy, bright, and a very motivating place to be creative.
Much to my dismay, soon I realized it was hard to craft in a room with too many craft items. In just a few months my craft room felt cluttered, messy, and unorganized.
So I fixed it with a better system of organization.
I wrote a blog post about how I redid our craft room and tips to organize a craft room. A pretty craft room is great, but if it’s not organized, it just doesn’t work. Trust me, I learned the hard way.
