Christmas Decorating Ideas in the Waco Airbnb
Our Waco AirBnB decorated for the holidays is almost magical. Ready for my favorite Christmas decorating ideas?
If you haven’t had a chance to stay at our Waco AirBnB, then this post will be like a house tour during my favorite season of the year! I love to decorate our Waco Airbnb for the holidays. There is something magical about the open floor plan and the vintage character at Christmastime. I especially love the comments from guests that the house is full of Christmas decorating ideas and feels like home.
I decided to add decor to the front of the home and in the living room, dining room, and kitchen. My theme for my holiday decorating of our Waco home was red and white with a “frosted” look. And the most important decor item has to be the wreaths I added to every window in our home!
Christmas Decorating Ideas in the Living Room
I love the living room! At our home in California, I hang wreaths in all of the windows, so I wanted to do the same at the Waco AirBnB. Wreaths are a quick and easy way to add Christmas to any room. Another idea that adds instant Christmas cheer is red pillow covers. I just pop a new seasonal cover over the existing ones and voila, it’s Christmas! How cute is the red and white felt pom-pom garland? So, so cute!

We decorated the tree with ornaments and a fat red satin ribbon. The tree is in a vintage wooden box I found at the Round Top Antique show. I also added a small tabletop tree to the side table.
Christmas Decorating Ideas in the Dining Room
The centerpiece on the table consists of faux pine branches and frosted berries. I used a tall crock that I found in Round Top. It is such a unique shape.
On the table, I tied small Christmas sprigs with red and white ribbons for a festive look.
Christmas Decorating Ideas in the Kitchen
I love how the kitchen decor looks. It is amazing how Christmassy the room looks, even with the simple frosted Christmas wreaths. If you are on a limited budget, one of the most economical Christmas decorating ideas is to put wreaths in your windows. Instant Christmas!
I love to display items on the island in our kitchen. Since the island is where cooking happens in this home, I added more Christmas items which included a cute little tabletop tree and some more frosted berry stems. In case you haven’t figured it out, frosted berry stems are one of my favorite Christmas decor items!
How to Hang Christmas Wreaths
As you have likely noticed, I love hanging wreaths on our windows and doors every Christmas. I am often asked how I hang the wreaths and today I am sharing the methods I use.
The tools you need to hang your wreaths include Command Strip hooks, small nails, or thumbtacks. The Command Strip hooks work great and can be attached to paint, wood, tile, glass, and more. I usually use white thumbtacks. They are so easy to use and leave such a tiny hole that you can’t see them.
This wreath is hung on the back door in the kitchen of our Waco house. To hang this wreath, I used two thumbtacks on the top of the door to secure the ribbon. I also used thumbtacks to hang the wreath on our front door.
The molding in our windows in the Waco home has a lot of layers. As you can see below, I used thumbtacks here as well to hang the wreaths in the windows.
Christmas Decorations on the Front Porch
I added minimal decor outside which is just enough to add some holiday spirit. I added some garlands and simple red velvet bows to add a bit of color.
Doesn’t this look adorable? I love how our newly remodeled Waco home looks decorated for the holidays.
Hopefully, I can get back to Waco soon to add some outdoor Christmas lights! I just love how our newly remodeled home looks decorated for the holidays.
