White Christmas Wreath Craft

I just made this White Christmas wreath and I am so excited to share how I made it! It is made from felt and you can make it with or without a Cricut machine.

I loved making this white Christmas wreath. This was such a fun DIY and I loved how it came out.

I made it by cutting leaves on my Cricut machine. Today I am going to show you how to make one of these wreaths, even if you don’t own a Cricut.

We were at the beach house yesterday when I was taking photos of this wreath. So that is why there aren’t any other Christmas decorations in sight. Oops!

The assembly of this wreath is pretty straightforward. The hardest part is cutting all of the leaves. 

Because there are a lot of them! Like over 100 of them.

But this is a pretty large wreath. You might want to make a smaller one!

What You Need to Make a Felt Christmas Wreath

1 1/2 yard of felt fabric (54″ wide)

Cricut machine and this 12″ x 12″ SVG file. Or this 12″ x 24″ SVG file.

If you don’t have a Cricut machine, all you need is a pattern for a holly wreath, which is pretty easy to cut out. (I used my cookie cutter, which you will see on my live video.)

One straw wreath form, wrapped with approximately 2″ wide ribbon (to match the color of your felt).

Glue gun and glue sticks

1/2″ felt balls in coordinating color (approx. 20)

Pearl straight pins to match the felt balls (approx. 20)

1″ – 1 1/2″ ribbon to tie on the wreath

This wreath is not difficult to make. If you have a Cricut, I included my SVG file for the leaves below. 

I used a 12″ x 24″ cutting mat and I included an SVG for a 12″ x 12″ and a 12″ x 24″ SVG design. I assume that will work for everyone.

I love that I was able to cut a lot of these with my machine. But don’t worry. If you don’t have a Cricut, I will be sharing an easy hand cutting option.

To attach the leaves to the straw wreath, just use a glue gun.

I used the pearl pins to attach the felt balls. Of course, you could just glue them too.
