Last year, I posted a photo of my everyday silverware drawer on IG. Apparently, I shocked a lot of people when I admitted that I use my sterling silver flatware a lot. Contrary to most, I use my silver every single day. As in the good stuff.
Many of you read my Instagram post and saw my Stories about the 89 years of fabric I bought to have two couches, two chairs and a sectional slipcovered. A few of you messaged me and asked if I could have ordered one from the sofa builder.
So here is my problem. I bought this coffee table thirty years ago. When I bought the table, it was light wood. I had the wood stained dark (gasp!) but at the time I thought that was a good thing. (Of course, I now know it wasn’t.) The table itself is pretty cheap. So it should be replaced. Ideally, I want either a chippy painted coffee table or a newly found flea market table.
As you know I love to shop at Flea Markets. Since I live in Southern California I have learned the most unique and best-priced items are usually found at a large Flea Markets. Fortunately we have a lot of them near where I live!
A few months ago I was asked if I wanted to participate in a Summer Home Blog Tour. There are so many bloggers that I admire participating in the tour and I can’t believe they asked me to join them. Needless to say, I am very excited and just so you know, the tour goes live on July 24th.
