Place Cards for Your Thanksgiving Table
Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away and my table is almost set. I know you are surprised since I love to set tables in my dining room. But I am almost done. I still have to decide on the china pattern and I need to plan out my flowers. I think one way you can personalize your table is by making your place cards for your Thanksgiving table. So I had some fun today and created a few options.
DIY Place Cards for Your Thanksgiving Table
I love the color of cranberries and thought they might add a lot of color to a table.
Using a piece of floral wire I strung the berries and then made a small tassel out of some of my Target Dollar Spot twine. This is my version of the popular wooden beads for your homemade out of cranberries instead.
If you want something in more of a fall color palette, grab some fresh greens and add a chalkboard name tag.
Here is another option with cranberries and a chalkboard place card for your Thanksgiving table.
This is one of my favorites. I found the template for these on Pinterest and a great blog called Fantabulosity. Click here to print your own!
Here is another way to use cranberries, a tassel, and a chalkboard place card.
I made these white tags out of air drying clay. Just roll the clay out with a rolling pin, cut with a round cookie cutter and mark a hole with a wooden skewer. Let dry about 48 hours. That’s it!
I really love these!
For the last one, I bent the wire holding the berries so that it would prop up the chalkboard place card. If you want to make these cranberry place cards in advance just be sure to store them in the refrigerator.
Have fun setting making place cards for your Thanksgiving table!

Hi! I hate to ask a stupid question, but on the Fantabulosity blog are you supposed to upload the FormFetcherPro in order to print the place cards? Thanks in advance for your help!
No! I just clicked the link and filled in the names and printed them. I didn’t download anything.
Thanks Leslie. I found this on Pinterest and it doesn’t seem to have a link. But I did find another website that has the same place cards. Thank you for getting back to me. 🙂
I am glad you found them!
Leslie,
I’m LOVING the cranberry idea! Soooo cute! I’m stealing that one for Christmas.
Thank you so much for always being so inspiring. I’m hooked on your Instagram…and now your blog. I’ve burned myself out over the years, but following you has helped to give me some new ideas and inspiration!
Thank you so much!
