Five Best Iced Tea Recipes
This summer has been hot, and I always find a cool glass of iced tea is the perfect way to refresh. Here are my five best iced tea recipes.
Each of these best iced tea recipes makes an iced tea that will quench your thirst and not leave a bitter aftertaste! Mix up a batch and keep it in the refrigerator for a budget-friendly and refreshing drink.
Best Iced Tea Recipes
Why do I like iced tea so much?
I read somewhere that iced tea has been popular since the early 1900s. Of course, this means there has been plenty of time to perfect iced tea recipes, right? Plus, most iced tea also contains caffeine, which gives me a nice jolt in the afternoon and is likely another reason I like it.
Tea also contains an amino acid that produces a calming effect in the body, which can result in a better mood. I think this works best with decaf tea.
Iced tea also hydrates the body, so I like to mix it with my daily water intake. It makes it easier to drink enough liquids every day. (Yes, I do get bored with water all day long.)
I should probably mention that unsweetened tea is the best for you, and once you sweeten your tea, many of the positive aspects may no longer apply.
It is probably a good thing that I don’t like Sweet Tea. It is just too sweet for my taste buds!
So here are my five best-iced tea recipes.

Cold Brew Iced Tea
Making Cold-Brew Iced Tea is very simple. Place the tea bags in a pitcher, add water, and let the tea seep for 6 to 8 hours in the refrigerator. If you want to use loose-leaf tea, strain before drinking, and you will enjoy cold-brew tea daily!
Cold Brew Iced Tea
Cold brew tea always tastes better than hot brewed tea and it's just as easy to make. It may take a bit more time but it is worth it.

- 6 cups of cold water
- sliced lemons or mint
Instructions
- Place six tea bags in a pitcher and add 6 cups of cold water.
- Place in refrigerator for 6 - 8 hours.
- Enjoy and store in the refrigerator for up to five days.
Raspberry Iced Tea
Nothing is better than a cold glass of berry-flavored iced tea. We had some raspberries in the refrigerator, and I made some fresh raspberry iced tea. The color alone is enough to invite you to drink this all day!

It wasn’t until a few years ago that I tasted my first Chai Latte! Wow! I loved it. Chai tea is also excellent. It is a loose-leaf tea brewed in hot milk, usually with sugar to sweeten it.
