Fall Flavors and My Fifteen Best Fall Recipes
Fall flavors and fall recipes are some of my favorites. Now that our kitchen is decked out for fall it is time to start cooking for fall.
Today I am sharing my fifteen best fall food recipes. I am ready to start cooking more and making some yummy fall favorites for my friends and family. You will not want to miss any of these fall flavors, I promise!
My Favorite Fall Flavors and Recipes
What is it about fall flavors that are just so yummy?
The mere mention of cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and nutmeg evokes memories of cozy nights, woolen scarves, and the satisfying sound of leaves crunching underfoot.
As a passionate home baker and cook, fall is my culinary playground. Today, I’ll share some of my favorite fall flavors and the baking recipes that have become my autumn staples.
My Favorite Fall Flavors
Pumpkin Spice
The reigning champion of autumn flavors, pumpkin spice is a warm blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and allspice. It’s versatile and evokes the very soul of the season.
Apple and Cinnamon
Freshly harvested apples paired with the spiciness of cinnamon is a timeless combo. Whether in pies, muffins, or ciders, this duo captures the essence of fall.
Salted Caramel
The perfect blend of sweet and salty, this flavor brings depth and richness to any dessert.
Cranberry and Orange
Tart cranberries balanced with the zesty sweetness of oranges offer a refreshing twist to fall’s typically warm and spicy flavors.
Maple
Reminiscent of golden leaves and woodsy aromas, maple adds a touch of natural sweetness and complexity.
My Fifteen Best Fall Recipes
I have so many fall recipes on my blog that I thought it would be fun to share my favorites. It took me a while but I finally narrowed it down to fifteen (ok, maybe 16) best fall food recipes.
I promise most of these fall recipes are all very easy to make and delicious! (There is one exception – The Pear and Almond Cream Bourdaloue Pie is not easy. But it tastes so good it is worth it!)
My Fifteen Best Fall Recipes
This homemade butternut squash ravioli with sage brown butter sauce just melts in your mouth. It is probably the best pasta recipe I have ever made. It really is that good.
This Fire Roasted Tomato Bisque Soup and Grilled Cheese Sticks is one of the best soup recipes I have ever tasted. It is delicious.
Sausage and Peppers Pasta
This thick corn chowder has become a tradition at our house and it is served every Halloween. If you can, make it the night before because I think it is better on day two. And it's great with corn muffins.
This wonderful chili recipe is delicious, light, and a crowd pleaser.
My family loves muffins and I love creating new recipes that are healthy, tasty and easy to make. This cranberry pumpkin muffin recipe is so great! These muffins are moist and have a light brown sugar topping.
I make these Cranberry Orange Muffins every year for our holiday party. I usually slice them and fill with smoked turkey. Some years I have even tied bows around the sandwiches ... which is very festive but time-consuming!
This pumpkin gingersnap tart is very flavorful and the best. It's a holiday favorite in our home.
This healthy version of the classic Pumpkin Spice Latte is not only healthy but it's delicious!
My good friend Chef Monique Chan taught me how to make homemade pie crust and a Pear Almond Cream Pie. This fabulous dessert is also known as a Bourdaloue Pie Tart.
This moist and delicious pumpkin banana bread is amazing! It has lots of pumpkin spice seasonings and a wonderful fresh banana flavor.
This recipe is gluten free and the donuts are cooked in the Air Fryer.
The cream custard, together with the pears and cranberries provides the perfet balance of just enough sweet to satisfy a sweet tooth and yet is subtle enough to have a slice alongside your morning coffee.
I do have a favorite recipe shared here. It has to be my crab cake recipe. It is amazing and everyone loves them! I served them at my Book Launch party and I am so glad they were well received again!
