Christmas Decor and My Favorite Flocked Christmas Trees

In my book A Home to Share, I featured our annual Christmas party decorated with flocked Christmas trees, wreaths, and garlands.

Most of the Christmas decorations are from Balsam Hill. From the flocked Christmas trees to wreaths, garlands, and ornaments, this Christmas decor in our home is my favorite.

Flocked Christmas Trees

There is a chapter in my book, A Home to Share, titled A Living Room for Real Life, that explains how to host a holiday party in your home.

I decorated the home for our party and in the photo above, the flocked Christmas trees and wreaths are from Balsam Hill.

This photo is one of my favorites. I love that the photo is taken while looking through the mirror that sits above the credenza in the dining room.

Flocked Christmas Trees

When welcoming guests to our Christmas party, I love decorating the entryway to make them all feel at home. For the first time, I added a flocked Christmas tree to the area next to the staircase. It sure looks like a tree should have been in this spot for years. But this was actually the first time. And it was nine feet tall!

The Balsam Hill 9′ Noble Fir Narrow Tree was perfect for this space. It sits on top of the very large intake grate for our basement furnace. I love that it kind of hides the grate!

This tree is so gorgeous I felt it didn’t need a lot of decorations. You can see that I only added some red berries to the trees in the dining room.

I have had these three Balsam Hill Frosted Alpine Balsam Fir Trees for years and every year I manage to find a new and exciting place for them. I love how festive the dining room becomes with these trees!

Christmas Garland

See this table in our entryway? Normally it sits in front of the French doors in our living room. But that area now holds a very large live Christmas tree so I moved the table to the entryway. This is a great location for the holidays!

I added an Outdoor Winter Evergreen Foliage Garland garland from Balsam Hill. The red berries and pine cones are just perfect on the banister.

They also look great on our mantle.

Christmas Wreaths

Christmas Ornaments

Over the years I have also collected ornaments from Balsam Hill. These Nordic Frost Ornaments look so great on our tree in the entryway.

I love decorating our home for the holidays. I cannot wait to share all of the many other flocked Christmas trees we will have throughout our home.
