Fall Apples Free Printable Art
Most of you aren’t aware that before I created my blog and Instagram at My 100 Year Old Home, I was a full-time artist. Huh? It’s true! I painted every day, taught 14 – 16 workshops a year and hosted an art podcast. For the last couple of years, I have been so busy with My 100 Year Old Home that I haven’t had a lot of time to paint. So I thought it might be fun to share with all of you a free printable download of one of my favorite paintings.
Today I have joined some bloggers and we are all sharing free fall printables. This blogging group is coordinated by my friend Kristen at Ella Claire blog. Be sure to head on over and check out her amazing blog. I think you are going to love these.
How long have I been an artist? I have been painting for about ten years and I paint exclusively with a palette knife. That means I don’t use a brush and I paint with a tool that looks like a spatula. I also paint with a lot of paint. If you look closely you can see the thick knife strokes and knife edges on my painting. I originally painted still life, landscapes, and seascapes for about five years. In the last few years, I have been painting large abstract paintings (also with a palette knife). I love painting abstracts!
This painting is titled Fall Apples and it is one of my favorites. I love the fall season and love to cook with apples. There is something about the colors I mixed for this painting that really resonate with me. The painting sold shortly after I painted it, so all the photos you see here were printed using the free printable. There are so many uses for this artwork. I love how it looks in a frame and I think it would make great cards. You can also screen print it on anything such as an apron, tea towel or tote bag.
If you download this artwork for framing, just resize it to fit your mat or frame. These two frames are from Ikea and I printed the download in a 5″ x 5″ size and a 9″ x 9″ size. I love that the printed download looks just like the original painting.
I did want to mention that this free printable can only be used for personal use (which basically means you can’t sell it).
To download my printable fall apples painting, you just need to subscribe to my newsletter. It is very easy to sign up here. Just follow the easy instructions and the printable will automatically be sent to you.
Be sure and check out all of the free printables included here. Aren’t they fabulous?

I also signed up for the newsletter the day this came out. But I’ve never gotten the newsletter or a link to the printable. Please help.
Am sorry to hear that people are still using your art as if it were their own. I remember while still in class someone found your artwork at Hobby Lobby!
I just put my “Gallery Room” together and several pieces of I chose to hang came from your class. They are as relevant today as they were when I first started taking classes from you. Your abstracts are beautiful and can’t wait to see what you come up with to hang at your beach house.
Aw thank you Cindy! This means so much! 🤗
