I have the best appetizer recipe to share with you today. It’s simple to make, and it’s always a big hit with everyone.

Have you ever been hosting a party and wanted a great appetizer recipe that would be sure to wow your guests? Well, this one might be it! Read on for all of the details on this delicious dish!

I have a lot of great appetizer recipes. My favorite of all time is my Crab Cake recipe. It is amazing. However, the crab cake recipe takes time. Sometimes we need an easy, go-to, for-sure appetizer. You know the kind you can throw together that tastes amazing and looks like you spent hours making it?

I am so excited to share the Best Appetizer recipe. It’s Honey Brie with Pomegranates. Why do I like it so much? It is so easy to make and can be prepared when guests knock on your door. Plus these taste simply amazing.

Today I’m partnering with a group of bloggers along with @oliveandlinen to share with you some of our favorite holiday recipes.  The Christmas season is a great time to say thank you and give back to our loyal followers.  So not only is Olive and Linen offering you 30% off any purchase using the code MERRY30, but they are also offering a chance to win one of three $100 gift cards to their shop.   All you have to do is comment on this blog post by letting us know what your favorite recipe is and that’s it, you’re entered.  The winner will be chosen randomly on Dec 22.

Olive and Linen sent me some of their wonderful Turkish cotton dish towels. I love the colors, styles and design. All of my towels have fringe on them and can I just say how much I love that?

The best thing about this recipe is you can make the won ton shells in advance, freeze them and pull them out of the refrigerator at a moments notice.

For our party, I cut an entire round of brie into tiny pieces.

To make day of party as stress-free as possible, I put the won ton shells in a baking sheet (with a lid). As my guests begin to arrive, I can pop them into the oven and make a batch!

Here is the the printable recipe.

Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 5 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 40 small won ton wrappers
  • 1 small brie round
  • 80 pomegranate seeds
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

Cut the won ton wrappers with a small round biscuit cutter. Spray a tart pan with cooking spray. Place each won ton in a small muffin tin and cook for 3 minutes at 300 degrees until just slightly browned. Set aside or freeze.

Cut the skin off the brie and cut in to 1/2 inch cubes. Place in the won ton cups and cook till melted, about five minutes. Top with a small splash of honey and top with two pomegranate seeds.

NOTE:

I actually bake the won ton cups in advance and then freeze them until the day of our party.
