Air Fryer Baked Parmesan Crusted Chicken

Indulge in a guilt-free, flavorful dinner with this Healthy Air Fryer Parmesan Chicken paired with a zesty Arugula Salad!
There’s something undeniably satisfying about the crispy exterior and tender interior of a perfectly cooked chicken breast, especially when it’s coated in a savory Parmesan breadcrumb crust.
But what if I told you you could achieve that same crispy goodness without deep frying?
Enter the air fryer—a kitchen appliance revolutionizing the way we cook. It allows us to enjoy our favorite fried foods with a fraction of the oil and calories.

Most of you are likely familiar with an air fryer. I have had mine for years.
But I will admit I rarely used my air fryer to cook an entree. I have always used it for appetizers, veggies, and snacks.
And that is crazy because fried chicken in the air fryer is so good!

This Healthy Air Fryer Parmesan Chicken recipe is easy to make and packs a punch of flavor without compromising on health.
By using gluten-free breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and lean chicken breasts, we’re loading up on protein and fiber while cutting down on refined carbs. Plus, the air fryer ensures that each bite is perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, without excessive oil.

What to Serve With Chicken Parmesan

I made my favorite and vibrant Arugula Salad to accompany this dish. Peppery arugula, sweet cherry tomatoes, and delicate shaved Parmesan cheese combine with a simple yet flavorful extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar dressing.
It’s the perfect complement to the richness of the Parmesan chicken, providing a refreshing contrast that’ll leave your taste buds singing.
Of course, you can also add avocado, nuts, chopped green onions, and assorted vegetables if desired.
