Family Room Window Wall

I have a thing for white windows. In fact, I have been buying them for quite some time. The only problem is, I haven’t been good about finding a way to use them in my house.

Actually, that’s not entirely true. A month ago, I hung these leaded windows. I love this!

Then I saw how my friend Erin @cottonstem hung her white windows and I knew I wanted to do something similar. Erin has an awesome tutorial on how to hang the windows. Be sure and check it out.

I am so glad she made this so easy by showing how to hang the windows. Basically, you need really long screws!

The long screws allow you to layer the mirrors and hang them. I love how they look on the wall.

Next, I found some great faux greens at Hobby Lobby.

And attached them into “bouquets” with some wire.1a4d8f7d-bd44-4735-b12e-a07e030c0a5b

Next I added a thumbtack to the windows.

And attached the greens to the windows with the tail of the wire.

And here is the finished look!

  1. Just love the way you layered these windows! I have a large area on LR wall and I may try to something similar. Our walls are white, though … and I am wondering about the ‘white on white’ with the windows. I’ll have to buy one and see! Thanks for this great idea!

  2. I have always admired this window wall in your home. I’ve wanted to try it, but wasn’t sure how. Now, thanks to you tutorial, I can! Thank you so much, Leslie, for sharing! ( now to hunt for windows! 🙂 🙂 )
