Fall Home Decor Ideas
I am still gathering all of my fall home decor ideas. Let’s start by taking a glance back at last year’s ideas for fall decor.
I love coming up with fall home decor ideas and I know it’s a little bit early for some of you. It’s been in the 90’s – 100’s all week so I have been blasting the air conditioner to stay in the fall mood. The photo above is something I just styled and I love this so much! I was gifted this copper pot for my birthday and it looked great this summer. But it is amazing for fall.
It’s fun to look back at previous fall home decor ideas to determine this year’s plans for decorating for fall. I have a pinky-orange copper as my theme this fall but I need more inspiration!
Let’s start with the red apples in the wooden bowl on our island. They are faux but I like them. This year I am going to replace the apples with some faux persimmons. What do you think of these persimmons? I ordered them but they won’t be here until September 15th. But they are so worth it!
Fall Home Decor – Faux Persimmons
I just discovered these faux persimmons on Amazon and I love them!
Pommegranate Florals
I am also going to reuse the pomegranates that I bought last year. They are my absolute favorite and I love the combination of orange and red.
These pomegranet branches my most favorite to decorate with. They are absolutely stunning so get them while you can, as they sell out fast.
Fall Home Decor Kitchen Ideas
As you can see, I didn’t add a ton of decor to our kitchen last year. I wanted color so I added most of it via flowers and fruit. I loved the faux orange and salmon-colored flowers as they looked great! You will definitely see those again this year.
I have always said that I have to keep seasonal decor to a minimum in our kitchen. I need all of my countertop space for cooking!
Faux fruit is a great way to decorate for fall. Pile them up in a bowl or in your favorite container and voila, fall is here!
Last year I also added lots of fall home decor to our living room. These apple branches are my favorites and were all purchased quite a few years ago. As you can see I love the simpler decor.
I purchased this white crock and four of these English advertising pots at the Rose Bowl Flea Market last year.
You probably know I am obsessed with crocks. You can learn a lot more about vintage crocks here. I see them at flea markets all of the time. You might be interested in my insider look at flea market shopping.
They aren’t vintage now, but someday they will be and these crocks from Amazon have amazing prices. Click on the photos to see.
Last year my plan for my fall decor was a color palette based on these velvet pumpkins. I loved the salmon, magenta, and off-white colors.
Everything Copper
But this year it is going to look different with all of my copper accents. And this year I will definitely be making more copper leaf pumpkins.
These copper leaf pumpkins aren’t that hard to make and I just love them!
Everything you need to make your own copper pumpkins here!
Last year’s decor was simple but I do love it. What do you think?
I think I am ready to add more decor but I promise I won’t overdo it!

My word Leslie, this is gorgeous. I love your use of florals throughout your home and I need to buy me some faux apples!! Just gorgeous my friend.
Your home is beautiful! I love the way you added florals and color to bring the Fall season into your home! XO, Cynthia
So gorgeous Leslie! I never would have thought those apples are faux! I love how you incorporated natural elements throughout.
I love Pomegranates and especially Persimmons, they remind me of my Italian Nana, she made the most delicious Persimmon Bread every year. She had an enormous Persimmon tree in her yard, it would produce so many fruits some of the branches would nearly touch the ground. I love the colors you’ve arranged and fall can’t arrive too soon for me.
I love that so much, Lisa. What a fun memory to have!
Leslie this is just the perfect fall tour. I love every single detail from the apples to the pretty florals.
