It didn’t feel anything like fall here yesterday. It was 106 degrees. And just so you know, that is really hot for Southern California.

I wanted to share some of my favorite DIY Fall decor ideas. Even in the heat, it’s not too early to start crafting. I painted these three pumpkins and they weren’t hard to make! It’s all about the “shading” and the only supplies you need to make these pumpkins are some inexpensive pumpkins and acrylic paint. These were so easy to make and I love how they come out. The full tutorial is on my blog.

I also shared a DIY on how to make this wreath. It’s one of my all-time favorites and took me less than thirty minutes to make.

  1. So ready for Fall and with it I hope comes less rain and cooler temps
Your posts are so lovely and get me in the mood for decor or change decor around
    As always thanks for sharing!

  2. I love the pumpkins ! Sometimes it is hard to get the same color effect if you don’t use the same paint colors that were used. I can see some of the color names you used but I can’t see what the brown tube is for sure or the color of green you used for the leaves and/or on the pumpkin. I looked at the tutorial on Joann’s and didn’t see it there. Thanks for sharing another great craft project.
