Three Easy DIY Wedding Favors
Wedding Favors are a wonderful way to honor your guests at your wedding. Today I am sharing an idea for three different DIY wedding favors. They are inexpensive and fun to make!
I know there aren’t a lot of weddings happening this summer and it absolutely breaks my heart. But I am guessing there is a lot of wedding planning happening about now. Today I am going to share an idea I came up with for a unique and fun DIY wedding favor.
One of the great ways to honor your guests is with wedding favors. These favors are a great way to send your guests home with something they’ll cherish forever. The fun thing about wedding favors is they can be made no matter what budget or style.
On Pinterest, there are a gazillion photos of wedding favor ideas. But I noticed that in every photo the wedding favors are exactly the same.
I came up with an idea to make three different kinds of DIY wedding favors. Having three options allows your guests to choose which one they want!
Just so you know, I have partnered with two different bloggers, Sara at Twelve on Main and Jackie at Finding Lovely who are also sharing wedding favor ideas. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of this post to see their amazing DIY ideas!
Season. Scrub. Soak.
All three of these DIY wedding favors are homemade and very inexpensive to make. Plus, they can be made very quickly.
I named each of the three wedding favors Season, Scrub, and Soak.
“Season” is a Rosemary Avocado Oil. “Scrub” is Lemon Rose Sugar Scrub. And “Soak” is Lavender Bath Salts.
Season – How to Make Rosemary Avocado Oil
This is by far the easiest of the three favors to make. And it’s perfect for the cooks and foodies at your wedding.
What You Need to Make the Flavored Oil
Swing top glass bottles with flip tops
2 cups of avocado (or olive) oil
Two to three fresh rosemary sprigs
Place the rosemary in the jar. Pour oil into the jar.
Add a tag and a bow, and you are done!
Scrub – How to Make Lemon Rose Sugar Scrub
A wedding favor is a small gift given to wedding guests as a token of appreciation from the newlyweds. There is nothing better than leaving your guests a gift to help them relax. The Lemon Rose Sugar Scrub is a wonderful way to keep your skin refreshed.
What You Need to Make Lemon Rose Sugar Scrub
One Kerr Glass Mason Jar W/ Lid & Band, Wide Mouth
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
10 drops of lemon essential oil
Sliced petals from a rose
Place the sugar in a small bowl. Add the oils, and mix with a spoon. Cut the rose petals and stir into the sugar mixture.
Doesn’t this look amazing?
Soak – How to Make Lavender Bath Salts
Epsom salt is a popular remedy for many ailments and really adds to a wonderful bath experience.
People use Epsom salt to ease health problems, such as muscle soreness and stress.
What You Need to Make Lavender Bath Salts
One Ball Mason Canning Jar, Wide Mouth, 8 oz
1/4 cup of dried lavender flowers
10 drops of lemon essential oil
Mix the salt and lavender. Add in the oils and gently stir until mixed.
Add 1/2 cup of the Lavender Bath Salts to a warm bath.
If desired, add a few rose petals and fresh lavender buds.
Relax and enjoy!
How to Make the Labels
I made the labels on my Cricut Machine. I love that my machine writes and cuts! There are three designs saved but you can change the words and make any label you want!

I think these wedding favors are so lovely Leslie. I like the idea of giving the guests three different favors to choose from…something for everyone 🙂
That is exactly my thought! I think I might make these as hostess gifts too.

As a wedding venue owner, and wedding planner your ideas are delightful! I am pinning them to our Pinterest “Favor” boards and thank you for sharing. Home made favors are simply the best, and these are something that will really get used perhaps and not just tossed aside. …that’s what I love. Just delightful !
Oh my goodness, thank you so much!

These are such thoughtful wedding favors ! I have a question, the ‘season’ oil looks like it has rosemary in it, not eucalyptus. And I thought eucalyptus was poisonous ?
Well, that is what happens when you write a blog post after midnight! Thanks for the heads up. I updated everything because of course, it is rosemary! Aargh.

LOVE these Leslie. Thinking about a shower I might be hosting in the future.
Just wondering about the rose petals. Will they stay pink? I would have thought they would turn brown and yuck.
Hi Diane! They are light orange in color now and still look great!
In the Lavendar soak, why lemon oil and not lavendar oil? Thanks!
Either would work great!
